DIY..... went with the bow early season last year with zero success. Way to hot and thick that time of year where we were. This year we will be there for their late muzzle loader season. Hopes are not to high but, it's called hunting for a reason.

Good luck, they take some really good bucks in late season according to things I read.

8 days and I will be in Ohio chasing bucks again!!! Can't get here soon enough!

Do you go with an Outfitter or DIY. I was thinking of doing this some time.  With what weapon?

  4.   Congrats, you lucked out!  I didn't know anything about the contest & ended up buying 2 used 90 cc. , one for each family, 2 grand kids in each. but I guess that's what grand parents do.  Worst part is I only live 5-6 miles from Bucks.

Oops, forgot to mention you, & a few others, sorry about that!

  6. These guys fish out of Dunkirk & the Catt ck. in the spring & catch fish.   Ultimate Adventure Sport fishing charters (Fishkiller 16) Captain Jim.     Also 365 Sport fishing charters.  Both are on Facebook & have web sites.  Barcelona harbor to the Pa. line is also a good starting place in the spring, shallow water 25-35 fow.

So I had my first bad experience muzzleloader hunting. Got in after work on my plot. Had deer come out. Then a 8pt. Not huge but I have never killed a buck with my smoke pole so I decided to take him. Gun went blah. No idea what happened gun shot great at the range. That took the wind out of my sail.

As they said in the old days "keep your powder dry & pack it tight!".   make sure your bullet & powder are down all the way & put a piece of tape over the muzzle in snowy , rainy, damp weather.  I use a finger cut off a plastic glove (5 pack, ha) or a balloon. over the muzzle.    jmo

  8.    Just wondering if someone might have a Polaris or other brand name 90-110 cc. kids Sportsman 4 wheeler in good running condition & good shape sitting around that isn't being used, taking up space & might want to sell? ( before X-mas)   Maybe one that the kids out grew or just don't use.  I just got a 2013 with around 40 hrs. on it  for less than $1500 & wondered if there could be another one out here someplace?  PM me if anything is out there.  Thanks!
