  1. Nice to see you getting some Beltzville fish. Wish I could do the night thing but driving home is the tough part.

  2. Congrats on biggest so far, I'm sure it will fall behind some double digits soon enough! Waiting patiently for an " Orange belly or walleye magic sighting. I've got 15 rods ready to get wet on the 23rd.

  3. I saw 2 bucks yesterday on the way to my hidden woods food plots. One was a nice 8 and yes, looked like a lot of horn already for time of year. I'm busy killing and clearing small spots for greens for late season. Tried this last year for first time, I had daily visits on whitetail no plow stuff all season, stayed green until snow flew and deer were in there heavy at the end of March. Cameras do wonders keeping track of the deer.

  4. Tough to stay out in the sun all day on a warm day. I finally got a bimini top for my small rig, extended my trips a few hours for sure. There always seems to be a king bite around noon till 2pm, at least for me anyway. Gotta love the multi port fishing available to guys that trailer. I've been from oak orchard to henderson fishing, always like seeing new spots. Good for you on your multi species journey.

  5. I've used wire with no issues, it's a copper set sold by a local merchant. I believe it's 600 ft. My brother refuses to touch it. Maybe the fact I have to thumb the spool because of lack of spool tension, even with the clicker on, is causing the copper to backlash. 600 ft of copper is a lot of weight on the spool tension control. Probably a reel issue. I have no issues with 25 year old diawas with wire. They work fine.

  6. I've got a question on copper also, how come the copper comes off the reel like its spring loaded? It's a fregging nightmare to deploy, bought as a unit , okuma clarion loaded with copper and backing. I'm a leadcore guy too, so someone's advice I would be thankful for using the copper.
