  1. Thanks Bigweenie. Great Products. Had a great year. The Proctoligist continues to be my top fly all around this year. It pulled in my 3rd best fish this year with it. Yesterday on Owasco Lake it was the only thing the fish would take :)

    PS: Sorry but ATomMik pulled my 1st and 2nd biggest fish this year in :rofl: on the BlueDolphin and Green Spatter fly. ;):lol:

  2. Slow day on Owasco Lake to start with LOU member MarkNY. Marks home lake! We started at the north end and trolled all the way to the south end and back only picking up two lakers. :( We marked some bait at the north end when we started but we hardly saw anything on the screen all the way down and back but when we got back to the North end..... Yeahhaawww :rofl::rofl: We boated 11 more lakers and missed 8 or more fish in a 2 hr spand. At one point we had both dipsys in the boat and a rigger popping off. Just could not keep up with the fish. We needed another guy to put the gear down LOL. 90FOW was the hot ticket yesterday 150 to 180 out on dipsys. 60 ft down on the rigger. Proc was the hot fly again for me. Nothing else was working for. Biggest fish was Marks 7lb Silver Laker. Mark has that pic. I will have to get it from him and post it. Most of the lakers were stocked fish. I kept 3 smaller ones for the table but released everthing else and they all had no problems diving back down. :clap:

    I can't wait for the B&B on Cayuga!

    The first fish of the day. Long wait wait for the rest of them.

  3. I launched out of Longpoint with LOU member MarkNY. We went to my hottest spot on the lake and I don't think we even had a single hit for the first 3 hours ;( So we hit another spot and started to hammer them. We did have a short lived double but lost one of the fish. We landed 8 fish and had 6 other hits. Biggest fish was Marks 7lb laker which was his biggest laker yet :) Most of the fish came of the Dipsys down 250 but Riggers werent too far behind. White SDs/flys continue to be my hot lure. I tryed my new R&R razor spoons. Only caught one fish on them and that was a small LL on the orange shad. My last fish was a nice LL on the proctoligist fy. We did have to seek shelter during this evening storm. It produced some lighting, heavy rain and winds. Good times! :D

  4. Its my first year with a probe also. I know it has to do with the wind. I was just up on Ontario this weekend. I couldn't find cold water. :o I drove about 5 miles off Oswego and surface temp was 69 and down 160ft was 64 degree water. Drove to Rochester yesterday and drove Mayble 20 to 25 mile N in 560fow water and finally found 52 degree water 130 ft down. They just got pounded with wind the last few weeks. Its messed everything up. I too would like to know if this happens every year or not to this scale.

    SUMMARY & FURTHER DETAILS

    ====================

    After fishing Oswego yesterday battling waves and warm water temps decided to head East and head north for colder water Temps. I was hoping to find the cold water closer but it was 5miles south of the border down 115ft to 150ft. Riggers were the only thing on my boat that could fish that deep so they did all the work. First hit was a miss. Second one was a nice steelhead but I dropped it back a 100 ft off the boat. :( We mananged to land 5 small kings. 2 biggest were 5 1/2 lbs.
