Miami >>>> Giants this sunday

I've had my Summit Viper for a good 5 years now and love it. Quick and fairly quiet set up if you take it easy, and almost too comfortable.

The Giants still play football?

Leaving tomorrow. Let hunting begin!

SUMMARY & FURTHER DETAILS
Started off in 30-50 ft, marked good amount of bait and fish, but no hits. Around 9, headed outside to to colder water and pick up some steelies. Started working in 450-500 fow and hit a couple 10#steelies 25-40 ft down and a few shaker and 2yo kings. Glowfrog and firetiger spoons and glowfrog spinny/mirage took most, while meat stood idle. Pretty steady bite until about 3. Went back out around 5 to try inside one more time, once again, marking fish and bait, but couldn't get anything to fire. About 6:30, board rod starts screemin and finally get first king of the day. After a bit, boated the pissed off 15# lady king off the 40jet/bloody nose jplug. Even though the fishing was slow, got to listen to the Bills kick some ass and weather couldn't be better....

Gr8 reports Nick. Btw. What setting is your 400 dipsy at and how far ya think your are getting down with that rig. Just curious. Thanx for sharing your pics and info
.

The dipsey was on a #1 setting and it wasnt hitting bottom in 108 fow... My guess is 85-90ft down maybe.

I'm curious as to what your downspeed was when you measured this.

What music do the fish like??

Thinking of running meat rigs for the first time this weekend and was wondering what is the simplest setup to start with. Cut bait? whole alewives? herring? Fresh/frozen? what size spinny/flasher....?
-
figured this out over the weekend. Saved a LOT of time and headaches.
