Hey guys, I will be spending the last week of July on Grenadier Island. Would this be an area worth bringing my Muskie gear for, or should I just save room and leave my Muskie stuff home and just bring bass stuff. Anyone that is willing to give me any info on this area would be appreciated. I don’t really need specifics. Just looking for whether or not it might be worth it. Thanks to anyone willing to give any info

Anybody looking to have an unreal fishing experience needs to contact Matt Gantress of Unreel Fishing NY. Fish after Fish after Fish hit the deck all day long. Whether you are an experienced float fisherman or bottom bouncer looking to absolutely hammer on fish, or have never fished before and are just looking to catch some of these beautiful trout, Matt will have you on fish. I can’t say enough about Matt and the service that he is providing on the beautiful Niagara river. I will definitely be doing this again. Contact him while the fishing is still hot! Thanks again Buddy! #unreelfishingny

Saturday
Boat 1:
Both boats ran today. Jamie Perkins and Mark joined me on the Lund. It was a good day with multiple species coming over the back of the boat. We went 1/3 on King Salmon, took a Coho, a Laker, and hooked multiple Brown Trout. Most of the Brown Trout were small today. The Salmon we landed was 16lbs on the scale, and it ate a new super slim from Team Dreamweaver called the Rasta Goose behind a Fishing - Chinook Diver-Stainless Steel Troll Fishing Divers.
Boat 2:
Captain Craig Hajecki and Justin Botting ran the Yankee Troller with long time clients Ray and Kurt. They had a multi-species day as well, and took a nice King Salmon right at the end. Their Salmon choked on a Bay Rat Lures Green Frog short shallow. They also got into a little nicer class of Brown Trout.
Sunday
Boat 1:
Who says an East wind and a poor moon phase means they won't bite? We fished the Webster shoreline today. Water was clear on the inside, but we pulled fish from it on our first pass. When we turned around we took a deeper line back West. That 20-30' range would be where we spent the rest of our day. It was LOADED with big Brown Trout, Lake Trout, and Salmon! Fishing - Chinook Diver-Stainless Steel Troll Fishing Divers out 25-35' pulling Team Dreamweaver SS in Sea Sick Waddler and Coyote Ugly. Our Cannon Downriggers were going down 15-25' with a Sea Sick Waddler and a Gold Tuxedo. On the surface it was mostly Bay Rat Lures, but one of our Kings at a Smithwick Black/Silver. The Bay Rats that went today were Black Flash, Ayu, Yankee Troller, and Citric Shad.
Boat 2:
Captain Craig ran the Yankee Troller again today with the help of good friend Randy Calus. They fished near the mouth of the Genesee River looking for more of a shark bite this morning. They went 0/3 on Salmon, took 4 small Coho, and landed some very nice Brown Trout!

Hey guys, so I got around a dozen keeper perch Tuesday evening. I put them in the fridge whole, and didn’t have a chance to fillet them until today. Do you guys think they will still be ok to eat?

I have tried minnows under a float off the end of piers in the spring about 7 ft down. Landed browns and steelhead

Wasn’t my biggest steelhead, but it was cool to catch a fantail. Here is a repo mount I got done

It was a tough season for me, and I have had a few guys on here reach out to me to get me out in the woods, which I’m greatly appreciative of. One of my friends uncle and Grandpa were kind enough to let me go out with them tonight, and I was able to connect. It wasn’t a big deer by any means, but after the season I have had, it was a trophy in my book. Meat in the freezer

To loud to talk to my stand this morning, so I’m sitting on the ground at the edge of a field. Not feeling to confident, but you never know.

Think you have my son Tommy’s number. One of us could probably put one down and tag it for you if you’re willing to come pick it up and get it processed.

Thanks for the offer, it is much appreciated! I’m not throwing the towel in just yet. Haven’t seen a thing the last 6 times out though, so it’s kinda discouraging. I will be out tomorrow morning, Saturday morning, and a few times next week too. Finger crossed 🤞🏻

Winter wonder land in the woods this morning. Nothing moving for me.

Got out for an evening sit, was hoping to catch them coming out to feed. No luck in the rain.

Loud walk in this morning. It was a cold sit. The neighbor to the north of me shot and the neighbor to the Southeast of me shot as well. All the same block of woods. I on the other hand didn’t see a thing. That’s how it goes though

Wind is brutal this morning in 8A. No deer movement over here for me. You guys think this cold front coming through tonight will have the deer on their feet in the morning?
