  1. Had some stuff to do this morning so didn't end up gettin out until about 11 or so. Kinda rough for our little boat but we decided to get out anyways. Right off the bat rigger went off and started pounding. Hooked up with a beautiful rainbow. Super fun fight and so nice to see these fish jumping out of the water! Got em in the boat quick and released it to fight another day. Ended up catching a few small salmon, then hooked up with a good one. He put up a good fight and we lost him right at the boat. Soon after it got pretty rough so we decided to get off while we still could. Marked the most bait we've seen so far so I think the time has come!! Going back out tomorrow. Everything come on small Michigan Stingers.

  2. wow!! thanks for all the help!! i think these tips will make the fishing much more enjoyable! i will let you guys know how i make out on the next trip. some of the tips i was doing totally opposite of like good hydration and having food in your stomach which i wasnt doing. so i think that will help plus ginger ale and cookies and some meds and i think i will be ok. once again thanks for all the help everyone i really appreciate it!!

  3. hey guys, it seems like every time i head up to ontario i get sick real bad and end up laying down. this doesnt happen until i get on the boat and doesnt go away until after i get off. so this is why i narrowed it down to sea or motion sickness. i know of the obvious things to do like Dramamine, but was just wondering if there was any tips that could help. like someone told me to go with a full stomach when most generally we go up early and i dont eat anything. doesnt happen on the fingerlakes just up to ontario. thought i would come here for help because you guys probably see this from time to time. thanks for any help. it will be much appreciated, as you can imagine. :D

  4. launched at sheldrake, went north just past the point and starting setting up. let out the first dipsy to 110 and put it in the rod holder. grabbed the other dipsy rod, and the one i just set out is screaming! grab it, turned out to be about a 6 or 7 pound laker. ran 2 dipsys and both pulling copper and boated 5. started out hot then after a couple hours shut right off. lost something pretty good on a dipsy. and a couple on the copper. trolled in 50-60 ft all day but marked some fish deeper also.
