  1. i have a nice baitcaster that i bought the other day and want to set it up for smallies, so i was wondering what the best line is that is good and works for everything. i plan on using this for everything but topwater, its a 6.3:1 ratio and 7' long. i was thinking 10 pound fluro. just wanted some other opinions. thanks, Codie

  2. well after spending last weekend at home sick i decided to spend my last weekend before duck and goose season salmon fishing. i still felt like crap, but after seen a salmon caught it got my blood flowing. went out saturday morning with my dad, uncle and cousin at our friends creek. tons of fish in the creek which was nice to see and some real monsters :D the weather was great and had tons of fun. everyone caught their limit of fish. all where legit caught using roe bags and soft plastics. cant wait to do it again next year, now its time to get some honkers on the ground.

  3. ok thats good to know, i looked on bass pro at my rods and they said that they were ceramic which was ok for leadcore. you have been making rods for 25 years!! thats awesome! do you make your own trolling rods or only like spinning/casting rods? once again thanks for all the info and help! keep up the good work!

  4. hey i have another quick question, when running leadcore do your guides on your rod have to be metal over the plastic? i just set up a couple of leadcore rigs but the rods have the plastic guides and was wondering if that was ok? i know its a good idea for copper but not sure about the leadcore. thanks, Codie
