  1. I had a Garelick on my old boat and never had any issues.  Maybe one thing I can share is that I bolted the motor right to the bracket mount.  On the transom mount part of the motor should be bolt holes.  Once you mount that on the kicker bracket drill right through the plastic and bolt that sum beach right to it.  Not only does it make it stronger but is also one more thing  for security and theft deterrent.  I also used a 1/4 inch aluminum plate I had cut and drilled to strengthen the whole setup.  Sorry for the headache and hopefully you can gain trust in another product.

  2. Went out Sunday, we were kind of late getting out there and started fishing around 7:30 am. One of the anglers had stomach issues and had to stay home.  First rigger down with probe parked at 68 and water temp was 52.  Started putting out the second line and fish on.  Set up in 140 fow, same story, same results as last week, same details.  We boxed 11 adults and one skippy and were in by 1:00 pm. Had our share of brake offs and hook outs.  Had a group of men not used to having fighting fish of that caliber but still an awesome trip.  All spoon program, did put out a flasher on the dipsy with a spoon on it that took a couple rips and we landed one nice one on that.  All the rest of the business was spoons on the riggers.

  3. Hey gang just like starcraft said.  130-160 fow, for us it was 90 down on the riggers and all spoons.  never moved anything and never changed anything.  The skips we kept were not going to survive or we would of had a board full of adults.  The last flurry we tripled and released 3 kings 18-22 lbs.  Absolutely awesome!!!!  We were out a little farther closer to the lanes where a lot of fish are being caught right now.  Its a trip to get there out of Henderson but worth the run.  Be safe and aware of the weather, its always good to team up with another boat and the cell service is not the best out there.  Happy fishing and good luck.

  4. Had a nice mix of bass, perch, rock bass, and silver bass.  Kids caught a few largemouth around the marina as well.  Good weather, happy family, and good fishing.  Some tube jigs, swim baits, cranks, and live bait all did their share of business.

  5. Sunday was a different animal.  Launched out of Stoney.  Communicated with 7 other boats, one of my compadres hit 5 browns, others hit one or two after excellent fishing on Friday and Saturday.  Northeast wind may have done some scattering once again.  We hit one brown and didn't see a net move with the surrounding boats so we slid out to deeper water and hit a nice steelhead and an Atlantic and that was a wrap to a beautiful day weather wise and slow catching for us.  Until next weekend...…….

  6. 110cc, 4-stroke, automatic, 2 X 4, remote control stop, speed throttle limiter, electric start, brand new battery, runs great, only has had 5 tanks of gas ran through it.  This is a compact little ATV!  Top speed when wide open is over 30mph or governor it down to less than 10.  I wouId say its good for riders up to age 12 and good for kids 4-12 depending on experience and exposure.  I am not  sure of the exact year but I think its a 2010.  Single original owner, getting rid of it because it doesn't get used enough and the Honda Rancher has taken over.  Its dusty from sitting in the garage, always stored inside.  The seat still has the original wrap on it.  Asking $475.00

  7. Thanks guys, the hectic schedule doesn't allow to just pick up and go as most of you already know.  Have to grasp it, cherish the blessings and take advantage because its all gone at the blink of an eye.

  8. Headed to the SLR to change things up since the East end has been so boring this season.  I fished with some friends Saturday morning from 6 am to noon.  We focused on shallow water and were casting shallow cranks in 4-8 fow.

We did try deeper and had zero luck although the Lowrance had a lot of good marks out to 50 fow.  The bite was pretty good and a lot of 15-17 inch fish.  We landed 40 plus eyes but couldn't scrape up a 3 man limit of keepers.  Signs of a healthy fishery and young eyes for the future.  The longest one was 24".  The rest were 18 to 21.

Headed back to the cottage for the remainder of the beautiful weekend.  The reports were not to good from the Three Mile, Chaumont, Guffins, and BRB.  Most of the guys I know didn't even bother to fish the Cape Vincent Chamber of Commerce derby because the fishing has been so poor.  A lot of charters boats still relying on pickerel to put fish on the line for the parties. I took the kids out to catch some perch, crappie and panfish.  We picked a few nice perch and some crappie to have enough for two nice meals for the family.  The kids were happy and smiling so it was all wonderful.  A couple of largemouths got in the way but that was fun as well.  Great weather, blessings and happy family!
