Thank you very much for that offer tho I appreciate very much... I'm pulling docks and lifts at the family Cottage on Saturday so that day will be completely taken up but thanks again.. 6. Okay no problem just let me know hope you get her fixed... For some reason you don't I'm sure we both can meet up at the South Seneca Sportsman's Club and help get prepared for weigh in.. I'm not sure if I'm even going to fish yet my money is in the pot but may just make sure everything's ready at 3 p.m. If I do fish I may only fish till noonish.. 10. No. Just run a piece 6ft 15lb flouricarbon leader from dipsy to swivel and spoon.. Mike Sent from my SM-N910V using Lake Ontario United mobile app
  11. Long Point or Myers would be fine... Start in 80 to 100 fow you should find plenty of lake trout.. if you don't find anything in close slowly move out and look around... I would run two Flasher fly dipsy's down deep and one spoon Dipsy in the 50 Foot range with a bright colored spoon on it.. Good luck Mike Sent from my SM-N910V using Lake Ontario United mobile app
  12. No big deal at all, would gladly do it... Not a tournament tho just a Lou get together with a gentleman's side bet..Should be a great time.. Not for sure yet but working on having hot dogs and hamburgers for everyone at weigh-in at no charge.. Mike Sent from my SM-N910V using Lake Ontario United mobile app
  13. Lol.. No problem Never Ends probably a good plan.. Just pm me or let me know on this post when you decide Mike Sent from my SM-N910V using Lake Ontario United mobile app
  14. No just a gentleman's side bet of $30 that every boat that says they are in will pay as they arrive at weigh in before 3pm that day..As I stated in the last post I think we are all classy enough gentleman here that once you say your in and you have placed your bet you cannot fish that day and have a poor fishing session and decide you're not going to weigh in.. If you say you're in you're in show up and pay your bet. Mike Sent from my SM-N910V using Lake Ontario United mobile app
  15. I never said he would have to give up the trophy that's totally fine and up to him... And yes putting names with faces and getting to meet some new is what it's about but adding some winnings also helps some guys pay off fuel bills tackle bills and travel.. Sorry if I offended anyone was just trying to put something fun together... Mike Sent from my SM-N910V using Lake Ontario United mobile app
  16. Sorry to hear about your surgery hopefully it all goes very successfully and you'll be able to join us on the water.. As far as the fish that you keep goes that's up to you either filet them for you or your family or friends afterwards or sometimes there's people at the weigh-in that want to take extra fish..We will count you in but for some reason you can't fish I think we could all agree that we could probably give you a free pass on that one.... 17. Cayuga Lou All is on let the trash talking begin lol... It will be a fun tournament with a gentleman's side bet of $30 per boat $5 going to lunker pool and the rest broke down for 1st 2nd and 3rd.... 4th and 5th place will each receive a rigged fly package from Iron Duke Trolling Flies and the largest lake trout caught will receive a prize from Gambler Rigs. . Best 5 fish trout and salmon box.. Box shall not include any more than 3 lake trout. All Dec rules and regulations must be followed.. You can launch from any port on Cayuga and Cayuga Lake is the only body of water that can be fished(That does not include tributaries). The Start time is 6am and must be at weigh in by 3pm sharp and signed into weigh and paid at the pavilion behind the club or you will not be able to weigh.. Weigh in will be at the South Seneca Sportsman's Club Sportsmen's Club( Google map link below) This will pretty much get alot of the guys on here that chat back in forth on this forum and threads together to meet and talk fishing face to face and a little friendly competition as well.. Always a good time. Anyone that would like to get in on this let me know on this thread or pm me and I will add you to the list.. Here's the link to where weigh in will be South Seneca Sportsmen's Club 6894 Yarnell Rd, Ovid, NY 14521 (607) 869-5502 https://goo.gl/maps/vhbqsSDyMJN2 Mike Lou members that are in so far Iron Duke Stoneam2006 Kayslay Cinnamon fish Magill 270 Nautitroller Suttontroller94 58 Johnson Darkwater1 Sk8man Keepin it Reel Fishstix Skach1 Quality Time Masterb8r Final Flight Lyteline (strike 3) Bobber Rodbender 1 Happy Hooker's 69 Fisherdude Ella Mae Sent from my SM-N910V using Lake Ontario United mobile app Sent from my SM-N910V using Lake Ontario United mobile app
  18. Completely understand but if you look at it from the guys that don't normally fish Cayuga Lake they will be coming from the east west north and south so basically we're going to have it Right Between the Lakes that's where the weigh in will be at it's actually closer to Cayuga Lake than it is Seneca by a long shot but I have taken the time to contact them they were nice enough to let us use their spot for free to hold a weigh-in, most places will charge you to hold a weigh-in I know state parks you cannot hold a way in there unless you pay them some ungodly fee to hold one there Myers I'm not sure about I believe that is a town park.. Basically if you were to launch from Tunkhannock or Dean's Cove that morning you could still fish the spots that you want to fish that you could get to from Myers or Long Point.. I'm sorry to anyone that this is inconveniences for I am trying to keep it fair and even for everyone.. I have worked on tournaments before and it is always extremely hard to please everyone but I am gonna try like always Mike Sent from my SM-N910V using Lake Ontario United mobile app
  19. Unfortunately not.. The Sportsmen's Club is not on the water but not to far from Taughannock launch or Dean's Cove launch..We have Seneca boys and Cayuga boys fishing so lets meet in the middle on this one..Here's the link to Google maps of South Seneca Sportsman's Club South Seneca Sportsmen's Club 6894 Yarnell Rd, Ovid, NY 14521 (607) 869-5502 https://maps.google.com/?cid=4897547952284755405&hl=en&gl=us Sent from my SM-N910V using Lake Ontario United mobile app
  20. Darkwater1 suggested that we also add a lunker so I figured for $5 extra and make it $30 per boat we could do a lunker pool with an extra $5 from each boat we don't have to that's totally up to you guys let me know what you want to do.. I think for just $5 more it's totally worth it though and it's an extra prize Mike Sent from my SM-N910V using Lake Ontario United mobile app
  21. Ok we have just received permission to use the South Seneca Sportsman's Club pavilion for our weigh on at 3 o'clock on Sunday October 15th.. They do have a bar at the club so that you can purchase a drink of your choice.. There will be another small event taking place there while we are there so let's please respect them as well.. As far as having a lunker award we could just up the side bet to $30 and put 5 dollars out of each bet towards a lunker pool if everyone is ok with that? Let me know you thoughts .. 22. I'm waiting to hear back from a friend hopefully by tonight he will know but I will keep that in mind and thank you very much for offering.. Mike Sent from my SM-N910V using Lake Ontario United mobile app
  23. To be honest with you the reason we picked a Sunday is because there were some guys that work Saturdays but have Sundays off so it will be Sunday the 15th.. Mike Sent from my SM-N910V using Lake Ontario United mobile app
  24. Just let me know when you know for sure and I will add you to the entry list Mike Sent from my SM-N910V using Lake Ontario United mobile app
  25. Time wise I am thinking 6 am til 3 pm reason being that's it's not gonna get light til probably 630 ish that time of year and anyone who chooses to launch at a launch away from where we decide to hold weigh in will give them a little bit of extra travel time to get there.. As far as payment this will be a gentleman's bet at $25 a boat and I think for the most part we are all honest gentleman here and if you say your in your in and we could just collect the bet money at weigh in before it starts .. I have seen guys say they were in before and not show up at weigh in due to a poor days fishing before, that is unacceptable if you say that your boat is in and don't let me know you are out the day before the tournament I will consider you in and accountable for your word of being there.. Does this seem fair?? Mike Sent from my SM-N910V using Lake Ontario United mobile app
