  1. Fished 5:30-8PM

Rough water for a small boat

    Fished 30-100' fow

    8 for 10 all browns

2 riggers spoons and 2 dipseys FF

One brown ~60' on the way out to 100', waves just got bigger and bigger so we turned back in.

About to go to the beach with the waves and then

    Got a double, landed both

Then a triple which we dropped two. Pretty wild for 2 guys (one new to trolling), a small boat and the waves

wonder bread was best but didn't change much. its was my friends 1st pick and it killed

    We had a great time.

Thanks for all the info on Browns!

  2. 2 rigger and 2 dipsey has been all we need this year. We have a small boat.

When it is slow we let out the copper down the chute.

This is what happens when a salmon hit a dipsey and takes it into the copper and then lets go. 1/2 hr later of untwisting in the drive way, i still cut 40’ of copper off. Just think about a ff twisting up another line even if each rod is being reeled in.

  3. I think NOAA reads wave height 1/2 of what we think or heigh from mean/average flat level.

Like if you were standing on a dock at water level. a NOAA 1 foot wave would hit your shine 1' high, then the trough would be 1' below the dock. we wold call that 2 footers.

not totally sure about the above but NOAA 1ft can be hell for 16' boat and very dangerous if you need to get off the lake quick or it gets worse quickly.

I like wind <10mph and less than NOAA 1ft. <5mph east or north. this is for 12-24 hrs before too.
