Boat was converted 2 years ago to an outboard . It has a custom stainless steel transom bracket braced to the stringers . Overkill with the internal framework. I had an optimax 150 on it and it cruised at 35mph and maxed at 40 fully loaded. The motor left loose this past September on my way back from the salmon river to catfish. No time to find another motor and can't see letting her sit. It is a fine fishing boat and takes waves and rough water well. I'm asking 2300.00 with no electronics. Has lots of adjustable rod holders on the hardtop and gunwale. I made it great for fishing all space is utilized for equipment and tackle storage lots of it. If interested I can send pics.It has new merc controls and steering system and wiring. The trailer is a load rite in great condition, dual axle with 4 new tires and new rollers and guides. Tows perfect. I live in PA and no one knows what this boat Is for and thought it would be easier to sell it where I bought it. For now I'm saying oil injection. The way it lost rpm's it seemed to be getting tight just b4 the pieces flew! What I can't believe is no warnings, beeps. I wonder if the gauge warning center malfunctioned. I know it was using the opti oil from the aux tank and the motor tank was full. These optis burn so clean you can't do the old yep she's smoking so she's gettin enough oil saying!!even when trolling for hours you could smell some 2stoke but never really see it! I did notice it stalled on me 2-3 times when at low run rpm's the day it blew. But I was using the kicker all day so I didn't pay much attn to it. But when I started it to come back it idled rough I kind of thought maybe a plug or an injector , but it cleared up and cruised normal until rpm's started fading away , dropped the throttle back and b4 the r's came down all the way the sound of horror. Maybe someone has some input here , I won't pull it apart I'm just gonna look for another motor , I guess! [ Post made via iPhone ]

Just blew my 150 opti comming back from combat in front of th SR. On my way back to catfish and rpm's started dropping , no warning beeps no indication just a big ole hole behind the starter and actually nocked the starter off taking pieces of the block with it. Always ran quickleen. Just one of those misfortunes. It did troll great and always ran great.now see what I can get for what's left on eBay . Oh yea those plugs are expensive I have a brand new set in the boxes and some other new xtras if anyones interested.hope Santa brings me a new verado!! [ Post made via iPhone ]

Huskyjerk I been saying the samething for years! I also fish that manmade clusterf#%k of a lake, I've tried the same lures that work on lake o !! I mean an alewife is an alewife!! Its almost like the fish In "o" are genetically implanted to chase them lures!! You should see the looks I get when I send the big John otter boats out on that lake! Diversion, You say for shallow kings, is that off planers or can they be fished other ways, riggers,dipseys, leadcore etc.. Has anyone used riggers with the fastracs or j-13's. I'm curious as to what kind of results. [ Post made via iPhone ]

I started fishing "o" in 07 and somewhere I was told to get these lures, but never used them. I fish Mex bay and was wondering if they have a use or are they taking up space. What rpm's at 9-10 mph? In smaller boats any weight added in the stearn can bog it to the point it will not get on plain causing low mph at full throttle. Xtra gear or passengers not distributed correctly can cause it.if you have higher rpm's and no mph then it's an internal drive problem , clutches ,prop hub, etc... Hope you get it fixed up !! Double D. The middle fish was 8.9 the smallest on the edges were about 4lbs , I released a small king that went belly up . What size fish should I be releasing and what are there chances in 76 deg water after being caught 80 ft down. The pic board sits behind the dock against a bank so fish always look small. I just got back today we got blown off today so came home early. Yesterday we ended 8-9 , 7 browns 1 young king . It seemed the warm water came back making fishing tough as the day went on. Except for a few small issues, like a 360 in the wind that ate my coated dr cable in the kicker prop and losing my tie rod bar between the outboards down to davie jones locker!! I use 65# power pro and it's great but you have to make watch it don't bind in the spool when it's pressured by the fish your fighting. U can usually see it b4 hand and it comes from reeling in slack line! It happened to me this weekend with a king on , broke everything off!
