  1. i have switched all my flies hooks to salt water series that are riffled. yes there a little bigger but i will tell you what when a dipsy fires unless you have a brand new person behind the reel its almost for sure a fish in the boat. my little girl can even keep her own on the dipsy. i to have a small selection of spoons with single hooks that sence moving to the riffled i have tweeked the hook and agin much better hook ups.

  2. great fish guys!!! jeff moses in williamson on main street is a great guy to get something mounted. he will work ith you if you need to make payments and garentes his work for life. ive had a king, bass, pearch, coyote rug with the skull in, and a hat made from fox. hes the only guy that my family and friends use. my dad cought a musky up north, put it in a cooler packed with ice for almost a week in july then took it to jeff and i sware it looks like it just came out of the water an hr ago and that as almost 12 years ago

  3. just talked to my partner and were in. were good for 2 more vets with us. even got a good seat in the boat for someone in a wheel chair or room for there own if they want. it may take some doing but i know that at a good dock we can get one in there.

ive never spent much time in arney so i was wondering do we need grils to cook on? or what type of bbq u wanted to do. i have access to a pig cooker that has racks so we could cook lots at once.

do you have vets in mind to take or are you looking for vets in genral or oif/oef vets?

today was just to check the spred and hook my little girl up with some fishies for her first boat trip of the year and wants her name on a leader board. it took us about 2 hrs to realy lilke hat we changed on the boat, wiped the top lines out and fired a nice steelie at 6.06 first one. fish on firs one for her this year. that fish put on such a show for her boys im tellin you what. bets smile ive seen on her face in a wile. then the 13lb king cleared the water from 80ft over 160ft . she had her hands full and agin man that king ran her out. hammered the hammer stinger mag. we fired 3 more steelies and had to go home. pooh bear purple for all the steels. hope this helps anyone who reads and wish her luck in her durby

  8. for years ive sprayed my flies with wd40 and wanted to beat someone when it ran out in the boat and no one replaced it. not sure whats in it if its not fish oil but its normaly been a great aid on more days than not

  9. im so sorry... your caught. you do know that boat stands for break out another thousand right. i havent been doing this for 20 years yet but i know im well on my way. i say this because that is just where i started 3 years ago when i came home from the army and bought a 12ft row boat ith a 7hp sears with my 2 6ft spinnong rods and my hand ful of lures. the only other thing i did buy where in line planer boards and a small portable fish finder. yes it seams like a investment but this way you can in crease the distance between your lines for when a brown or better takes you for a ride. and it will happen trust me i trolled all over in that boat out of bear harbor from ginna power plant to hungerferd up to 100ft of water. much past that you would have to be crazzyer than i am and yes you do have to keep a very keen eye on the weather, but yes i took that out into the big pond. i too took a charter with some buddies everyone piched in, we learned tons and had such a great time.

now the bad news sence then a few boats later and meny meny meny did i say meny cause theres a lot of freakin lures, paddles, flashers, divers and every thing else you can think of to include the shower and ****er.

small swivels and distance behind the boat help more than you might think, water tempture is big.

im not sure how others may feel but i start with my lure 120 ft back and as far away from the boat to the side with out tangling into the others, bright colors on dark days and dark on bright days

you can go out and get all the other things you want but just rember to fish what you can afford. draw a line somewhere and stay with it. when i said boat stands for bust out another thousand it could get that bad if you let it.

6# on the the light rod might ant to be bumped up to more like 10# and the rod might not handle it to well. this year has been an odd one to say the least but i have been hitting 10lb fish on the norm. great luck and carful out there that big pond can get nasty faster than you think

  10. fishing wensday near there as killer. took a 13.02 brown in 60 ft water brought us home 9th in the durby fished from 6 am till 4 pm boxed out with browns hammered lakers steelhead and kings as well. saterday was brutal indeed. we only put 10 browns in the boat none over 10lb. that as between 4 and 6 am. we fished untill 9 pm lastnight between 5 ft in the morning to 330ft by 2pm and all the way back in by 9 ith nothing to show other than one hell of a gas bill. hang in there it was just a hard day. i drive from walworth jsut to fish there and its not because i like to burn gas the donator wishes u the best of luck

  11. i just looked at the plans to make my own on one of the other topics. i just had to make one and just copied the peices that where left came out very well. but i want a better pulling board. are 3 planes better than 2, how long is to long and when i made the repliclas i sealed them... good idea or bad idea??? one persone was saying let them swell up and they would do better ???? true??? and what about weight how do you know when theres " the right amount".

im just a poor fisherman looking to better his gear the cheapest way he can... gas is bad enough
