  3. Very small price for keeping this site going, you spend more on hooks every year! Best $20 i spend each year lots of positive guys on here, very few negative comments and the more fishing info we share the more enjoyment we get when we can get out.

  4. Run small spoons that are gold n perch colored on 5-7 color lead core, try 30-50' down on riggers. A mag dipsy down the chute 300' with a Sd and iron duke UV extravaganza fly 15' behind the dipsy. If you want, early am try hugging the shore line with bright colored sticks, those Lakers are always hungry in that lake! Good luck!

  5. i miss my boat that had no fish finder I feel I caught more fish lol.. Guy at s ramp once asked me how do you catch fish with no finder well try various depths both fow and lure, well how do you know that fow your in I pointed to the rigger he looked puzzled I said send it in the mud. He laughed and asked how do you know where the fish are, simply smiled and said we catch them!

  6. Launched out of Taughannock with two volunteers from a Christian group that had been volunteering at our camp for kids with special needs. Asked them north or south they chose south. The wind wasn't bad to start but ended up being a bit blustery! Trolled across to Myers and didn't touch a fish. Headed to the west side and popped two salmon just under legal size. The ten color with a purple alpha alewife took a really nice shot and Pastor Jay was up to reeling in a 6.5lb Brown in some serious waves. All in all a great morning for the conditions. I have no idea how deep we were cause my new fish finder is being shipped, Overtons had the Lowrance Elite5 HDI on sale so I grabbed one, hope I'm not disappointed. Picture doesn't do this fish much justice I thought it was only 4-5lbs but the scale said 6.5 we went back to the camp and ate it for lunch, yum!

We were blessed to have this group of young and older men this week, thanks Pastor Jay, Ben and company!!

  7. Great job Mike n Brent and all the guys in small boats that braved the weather and waves! We ran the whole day without a fish finder put 18 Lakers in the boat, released a bunch, but couldn't get the silver bite, hard to run shallow without the sounder,

    Cayuga next!!
