  1. Congratulations to Rollie on his cup win! We got a slow start on the west side only picking a few small salmon and Lakers. Decided to run a bit North to Milliken and glad we did. Ended up the day with one small bow, a pile of short salmon and ten Lakers. The prize fish came on an green fingerling Alpha Alewife parked down 48... thanks for the advice Joe! 7lb 3oz landlocked! Awesome fight, with an aerial display! Congratulations again Rollie well done! post-150622-14040798106082_thumb.jpg

Also NY is a caveat emptor state buyer beware!

If you bought it with a bill of sale that said as is, well all of us have bought stuff that sucks, its not about someone trying to hoodwink you from this site...

    So be furious at yourself...

  3. Time to sign-up, or just show up. This is also day one of the 333 it will be coupled with the Lighthouse derby for the second day. That should really make it interesting on whether to weigh-in or not, Right Rollie?

    Oh boy!

To weigh or not to weigh.......

  5. Great job! I got schooled on my home lake! We ended up 21 for 26 dropped a nice Brown behind boat. Lead cores and dipsy were hot early for us too. We landed three short Bows and a couple of small salmon, I made the mistake of not going after the silver fish earlier, oh well... next weekend LOU all! beware I saw the Billy V crew out tearing it up probably

Congratulations to all and especially the crew that boated 28lbs, awesome!

  6. Don't know if this will help but the bait and fish we found were associated with points out into lake, white spoons on leadcore running about 30 to 45' deep worked for us, as the morning went on go deeper for Lakers with any spin doctor with Seneca ghost fly (white) 85' deep, also try a green fly out too. 2.0-2.2 speed, turning in and out around points got hits for us on cores on inlines, #1 dipsy back 250-285 with ff also hot. 14' off dipsy with 20" flasher to fly lead. GOOD LUCK! Start mid lake go North either side, shallow first find bait stick with it....

If you haven't fished it get a contour map to find points out into lake.

Oh if you need gear stop into Hills Valleys and streams they have it all and great advice! Elmira... if you do not catch fish on what they sell you I will buy it back from you!

    Seriously!

  7. I wouldn't bring those FLT spoons to Cayuga they won't work:D....

Great stringer... I tried to warn the fish in Cayuga but they probably won't listen....

  8. Awesome weekend ended with too many Lakers to count, 3 salmon, one 4 lb bow, (released at net, lol) and one brown that was almost 7 lbs. Perfect fathers day with a buddy and his 12yr old son. Overall had some where around 21lbs for Three fish. But was a day for the kid to remember since he picked the spoon ( out of my FLT choices) that caught the Brown, and he reeled it in! Priceless!

  10. Welcome, (cool photo and boat) you should try the Fingerlakes if it is a bit windy on the Big O... Cayuga or Seneca are great choices. Lots of great posts on here to show you the way!
