  1. Great info! I agree with Sk8man and run the 40# big game off FF, it is cheap and works great! All your research makes sense there is a time and place for floro and for mono.  I run floro on my lead core and it accomplishes its "stealthyness" now that I read this I will change it out more often.  Can't wait to get out again...

  2. I do not have a hundred to spare but I am willing to auction off some fishing gear,  a planer board mast and a lure package let us know if you want to salvage your boat....  If not saw a guy looking for a boat like that on Craigslist in the boats for sale section in Ithaca. His listed number 607-731-8333.    Been there with IRS sorry man! good luck

  3. Fished from my Targa I store it in my garage ready to go at a moments notice as long as the driveway is clear :)  Les next time I go I will let ya know, I would look forward to having you in the boat to critique my fishing, I am sure open to learning from a pro :) , but I have a feeling the winter is setting in for a while!

  4. Launched late Saturday around 12:40. My wife gets the award for being a trooper and going with me. Figured we would do a six rod set with the idea in mind that we would stick to a high speed troll (2.9 to 3.5 sog) for salmon browns and maybe a bow.... Well went 1 for 3 with this one nice brown hitting a FLT alpha alewife on ten color lead core off an inline. Water was 41.5 degrees and the sun was out making for a relaxing beatuiful afternoon on Seneca. Nice meeting you Sutton 44  like your LUND, pretty boat.   Happy New Year All!!!!

  5. Kevin great insight! I would like to see more posts from you on LOU....  I believe strongly that nature will balance itself no matter what types of fish we stock.  Also I believe that our fingerlakes ecosystems are truly unique and deserve to be studied in depth.  Therefore I will do my best to catch as many walleye and trout as possible, and even invite a few to dinner :)  Good fishing guys merry christmas!
