It is getting harder and harder to defend the second amendment. I just can't understand what is going on in our world. I am a grandpa and I find myself fearing for my family. Any of you have thoughts? Thanks

Yeah, what Pap said,I got a 4.3 in my 22' PennYan, Great on gas, but engine maintance and repair. $$$$, lower unit and outdrive maintaince and repair$$$$, can't use the boat in the winter, ( I live on Seneca and Cayuga), your outboard is a better way to go IMO

Takotas are a great reel, I have 6 800s, pretty pricey. I also own over 30 convectors, great reels also, my go to reel of choice. At first had a problem with clickers breaking, Tuna Tom repaired 4 and sent me a dozen parts packages and told me to replace them myself(no charge). Been very happy since.

NO AUTO STOP AVAILABLE!! I to was at the Niagra show, need two new riggers, I was interested in Cisco, no auto stops, Went to Magnum Metalzs, no auto stops, went to Trax Tech, $1500+! I guess I'll go another direction.

Spent the walleye opening weekend with some new friends, Gene Bolton and his gal Samantha. Myself, Corry Redditt, Ken Madigan, and Frankie Gerramonte fished sat, and sun, weather was awful, as everyone knows, but, got into a few eyes and had a great time! I just completed a project on my old boat by replacing all my old rod holders and swivel based on my down riggers. I settled on a Cisco track system for three reasons. 1 customer service. These were the only folks that bothered to return a phone call or email.
2. The folks at Cisco were genuinely interested in what I was doing, called me and asked me questions and offered many suggestions.
3. Value! I,was given the opportunity to compare product quality andprice. The Cisco products, IMO, by far was a better value. Material, workmanship, and usefulness
Surpassed anything else I was able to get my hands on, and at a comparable price.
Check them out on their website, don't be afraid to give them a call, ask for Mr Dave Logan. Hope this helps, tight lines

Thanks for all the help! Maybe sometime in the last 40 years or so of running planer boards I have forgotten something, old age setting in I guess, I will keep working on this problem. As far as as my otter boats go, they were set up as,per Rick Hijecki's measurements, I will check them again, thanks
