  5. You should try Tompkins point on Portbay Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  6. fishbowl836 Safety would be a big concern of mine as well. Things can happen real quick with weather. It is true that out of Port Bay or Fairhaven you have to travel a lot further out to find deep water & temp, but it can be done. Again safety is key. Read the NOAA offshore forecast also go to the following website to get a better look at what the lake is doing http://www.coastwatch.msu.edu/ just go to Lake Ontario section.
  7. Welcome to the bay. Definitely slow out there we managed one King ourselfs. It was a small ten pounder. Similar water depth and down depth. Everyone was slow. Kinda strange for it to be this slow in August.
  8. I had the same engine in my Seaswirl. It hydro locked on me three years ago. I took it to french creek marina. It was a long drive, but he is an authorized Volvo mechanic Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  9. I have a 21ft seaswirl with 5.0 liter. It used to have a raymarine sport pilot on it, but it failed what would you recommend? Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  10. We're the browns on the bottom in 30ft? Sent from my iPad using Lake Ontario United mobile app
  11. I was curious if anyone was catching anything out of Port Bay? We had a trip last weekend with not much success. Went out Saturday morning in the fog and managed a small minnow in about 180fow. Anybody catching anything? Sent from my iPad using Lake Ontario United mobile app
