  11. It has been several years since LOTSA was able to offer LOTSA themed clothing items to our members. In order to avoid the upfront costs associated with producing the merchandise and carrying the inventory, LOTSA was able to work out an arrangement with “Special Tees” located in Geneseo, New York. Special Tees has created a website where our members can go online to purchase LOTSA merchandise (hats, t-shirts, sweatshirts, and UV protective shirts (men and women styles)). The LOTSA member pays for the merchandise, applicable tax and shipping costs. Your order will be shipped directly to you. There is no cost to the club. Please be advised that this is not an on demand ordering system. There is a deadline in which you can place your order. Once the deadline expires, the website will not allow you to place an order. The reason for this is because Special Tees has to set up the printing equipment and will run all of our orders at the same time. This helps keep costs down. Bottom line –Do Not Procrastinate if you want to place an order! The website is as follows: https://lato2018.itemorder.com Deadline is June 9, 2018!.
  12. When we received our fish on April 9th, the plan was to keep them for 21 days. Due to the cold water in the Harbor the fish have grown slower than we have seen in past years with warmer water in the harbor. As a result, we will be holding them for a week longer than we have in the past to give them the opportunity to grow a little larger prior to their release. The pens will be removed, cleaned and prepared for storage on Wednesday May 9th. We will meet at The Town Of Newfane Marina at 9am and git-er-done. This evolution takes quite a bit of help and we normally run short. So, if you can please come out and help get the nets ready for storage. Bring rain suits for pressure washing and side cutters for zip ties. We will be weighing the fish this Tuesday evening at 5:30pm and again on the 7th. If you would like to check it out, please feel free to join us. Thanks to everyone who has made this project a success.
  13. I have a few sets of otter boat keels left. These are made from stainless steel and don't require a weight. However there are holes to attach your weight if you want. These come with stainless hardware kits for attachment. $40 per keel, $80 per pair. They can be picked up in the Newfane/Wilson area, or I will ship in a USPS medium flat rate box for $13.45 per set. PM, call or text. 716-504-7789 Thanks, Alan
  14. The LOTSA Tournament Committee will be meeting 1 hour prior to this Thursday's club meeting. They will be discussing the upcoming tournament and any changes or additions that may be considered. This meeting is open to all who are interested. So, that's 6:00pm for the tournament committee and 7:00pm for the LOTSA Club meeting. The Club meeting should be very good this month, tons of information will be given. Don't miss this one!
  15. Thanks to everyone that came out on this cold blustery day to prepare our pens for the salmon and steelhead that are coming Monday. I didn't get a firm count, but I believe there were over 40 volunteers. Thanks to the Town Of Newfane Marina and it's employees for their continued help with this project they are truly professionals. Also a big thanks to Roy Letcher and the East Side Market for providing coffee all morning and Pizza for lunch. The food and service at the East Side Market is top notch. Remember, our fish are being delivered this Monday the 9th around 1:00pm. Come on out and help fill our pens. Hopefully it will be a little warmer than today.
