I fished inside all weekend searching for kings with almost no success and after reading the reports about all the steelhead in 175' i couldnt do anything monday but figure out how to get tuesday off. After a discussion with my boss i was able to take vacation day to chase the silvers. I left my dock at 615 the plan was to head to 150' and put rods down. i parked 1 rigger at 50 and the other at 60 with a dipsey out 180 on 3 setting pulling ff combo. i trolled out to 220 with almost no screens to speak of. i pulled rods and headed to 300' when i got there i did samething 1 rigger at 50 pulling black meat pounding spoon and 1 rigger at 60 pulling wonder bread spoon dipsey was still at 180. as soon as i got past 310' the screens lit up and the 60 rigger was going. i landed a small king and back down the rigger went. it was steady action all the way out to 350'. i eneded up 6 for 10 mix bag of small kings and steelhead. nothing landed over 6lbs though but was still fun moving rods again. I lost a real nice steelhead after he came about 3 feet out of the water! all fish came off of riggers and spoons with black meat pounding taking all but 3 hits. i have gopro footage as soon as i learn how to edit the videos ill post them.

left my dock at 4 my plan was to motor out to 30ft drop in 2 j plugs off riggers and a spoon behind braid dipsey. Got out to 30ft parked 1 rigger with glow j plug at 20 and the other with a chrome and red j plug parked at 15 with the dipsey and spoon parked at 25. trolled nw out to 60ft where the spoon now parked at 30 takes a rip but was gone just as i started to fight him. I put the spoon back at 30 and continued my troll nw til about 75ft then i turned sw towards the river. had good screens as i got closer to the river i made it back into 30ft when the 20ft rigger fires and screams. 10mins later i slipped the net under a nice 20# king. i put the rigger back and continued my troll back towards the bay. once i got about 200yrds east of the river i pulled my rods and went in. fished til about 830 the only fish i landed came off of glow j plug size 3 at just about dark

yea there were 2 other boats around me. I think if I try it again ill stay that shallow and flatline. I fish by myself most of the time so kind of hard to fish at night

Well I fixed the lights on the boat had dinner at my moms house then with a full stomach I made it to my boat around 8pm. I made my way out to 40' put down 2 riggers one at 20' the other at 30' both pulling moonshine glow spoons. I worked out to 70' then back into 50' without moving a rod. pulled lines around 10:45. I had to give it a shot while we had a break in the weather. Hoping for one last good opportunity to fish but this weather sucks!

My plan when I was leaving work yesterday was to go home get my stuff done so I could be leaving my dock by 430 at the latest and fish til around 9. I arrived home went down to the boat to check it out cause it had been a week or 2 since i was in it. I found 2 dead batteries so i got out the charger and let them charge for a while. i went did all my stuff and at 430 i checked the batteries again had some chagre in them so i started the motor with the charger on. i checked my lights in the boat as i always do before an afternoon outing and they were not working. After a few choice words and some messing with the lights they just wouldnt work so i decided to go only til dusk. I left the dock somewhere around 5 motored out to 70' and put down 2 riggers 1 wire dipsey 1 braided dipsey 300 copper and 10 color leadcore. The riggers were parked at 50' and 60' pulling spoons. the dispeys the copper and the leadcore were all pulling spin docotrs and flies. i trolled nw out to 80' then back into 60' before i picked up. i took 1 good shot on the wire dipsey back 150' on 3 setting pulling glow with green dot sd and glow hammertime fly. he ripped out to 500' then as i started to win the fight the wire broke i lost the everything. There must have been a kink in the wire but im pretty anal about always checking my wire and leaders before i set it out. all well i must have missed something. it was a nice evening to spend on the lake. Im hoping for 1 last trip tomorrow morning. i plan on heading deep to get away from the crowds and to find smaller kings and steelies if the weather lets me

bondouley, I have done this several times and have had great success. My best lures were moonshines trolled around 2.1 mph, by the mouth of any trib.(were they are holding) make sure to keep spoons lit up . Flat lined back 150 to 200 feet, don't be afraid to speed up spoon using long sweeping motion of rod.( top of water to 12oclock) then back .Workes for me! Good luck and be careful
moonshine spoons are what ill be using. thank you for the good info i will try the the sweeping method
