  3. Pap I had it it like you did. If you don't clean your plate off totally no matter what it is your nite was over go to bed. Or sit there and squeeze your nose fork it up and swallow !!!! Lol. I to had split pea soup days that where ruff. Lmao Green beans were tuff nites for me. Lol. My 4 yr old daughter hunts with me fishes with me we catch frogs,crayfish, snakes, you name it she loves it!! She has no problem running a skidsteer sitting on my lap or standing up in front of me and drive a 100 hp + Ag full cab tractor pulling a 4 bottom or discs or planter. She also loves picking rocks in the spring out the fields cause she always finds cool ones for her collection. Lol. If I load a deer in my truck you can bet she is helping push it into to the bed of the truck!! With out me asking she loves " boy days ". LOL Sent from my iPhone using Lake Ontario United

  7. Thank you!! Looking forward to it!! We added pork fat trimmings and some fatty ground pork also and reground and mixed everything a couple times to before cure and seasonings and then mixed again and filled casings.   8. Ckawaki I decided to go with the hickory on these pepperoni sticks. Marinating now in casings !! 2 hr dry in smoker no smoke to start at a 100* and then up it 20* and 2 to 3 hrs of smoke till its 140* then gona kill the smoke and get the internal temp to 155* to 160*. Ice cold water to stop internal cooking temp and then hang !! Stay tuned ! Any input is appreciated and thank you in advance. Sent from my iPhone using Lake Ontario United

  11. They are dropping horns fast. My butcher friend had 5 deer come in today and 2 were bucks with plug holes were they lost there horns. One was a nice 8 pointer the guy shot and when the buck went down he lost one half and when he walked up and grabbed the other half it fell off.   13. Now that the last weekend is over and I have Monday and Tuesday to be in the woods I plan to crack my new muzzleloader and harvest a doe for my freezer. We had the venison Gorgonzola again tonight hard to beat and simple. 3rd stick of butter and 2 spoons of Gorgonzola cheese in a bowl melted 20 sec in microwave and then stir ! Then run it for 20 more seconds and stir again. Make your venison how you like it with onions garlic butter or western rub how ever. Then use the gorgorgozolla butter for dipping or pour over your steak. Not very healthy but what is. Lol Congrats on the doe jakey. Sent from my iPhone using Lake Ontario United
