  1. You guys out in the boat or shore casting
  2. Congrats that fish is a beast. It was a rough one out there last night
  3. Surfnturf- funny you say that, that's what I did. First cast on my rattling rogue got it, I was going from a slow to more aggressive retrieve as well. This lure is always one of my last resort lures but I have actually got a few on it maybe it should move up on my list.

    Otisco 10/6

Fished Otisco Lake 10/6 from about 5-7:30AM from shore. A ton of alewives around after I have not seen too many over the last week. It was raining off and on and did not have any action for most of the time I was there. At 6:56 I caught a 22" eye. Thought I would have more action with the weather, but one is better than none! Fish seemed skinny so they must be getting ready to fill up, it had a big head.
  5. Ill be out in the early AM good luck to anyone else going out
  6. I haven't had any yet for eyes, just some bass.
  7. Heard stories of them caught at Causeway, and over by marina at night. Heard of a 38" caught last week out there in the early AM (still dark)
  8. what time where you guys out there? I was at the causeway that evening and didn't see anyone
  9. Good luck. Had some walleye action from shore this morning around 5:30.
  10. Thanks for the info guys. Didn't think they heavy braid/wire was required for eyes or trout. Makes sense what you're saying though
  11. Hey everyone, just got a diver and the chart I have is for 25lb mono. I was planning on using 12lb how does that affect diving depth in terms of diving more or less than on the chart? Any help appreciated - thanks!
  12. What did you guys have for a water temp today
  13. nice walleye. just joined the forum and otisco is my favorite lake to fish. Your posts are great, I'm waiting till they start moving back in to shore cast myself.
