try using  boot  scent pads  used for hunting and put them on your downrigger  weights  there  is a super absorbant felt pad on there  and   holds  scent  fro quite some time  and sewn on to an elestic band  it goes right on a shark   15 lbs stays there and when you do have to bring your weights  give them another shot  of  your  favorite scent. 

the Scotty  release  is that the planer board  release they  make?

i will be running lead  and copper  of my  otter  boards.  im thinking  lead on one side copper on the other?  Should  the deeper lines be  on the outside closer to the board or  closer  to the boat ? Will  the releases  i use   in the spring work setting  them   heavy ?

I have  finally found a accurate  digital scale  55lb capacity  Brecknell     Electro  Samson         works great    its right on at 2lbs  and right on at 38 lbs

i hear the big fish  have made it up to the cape   still  waiting  for them to come around  it

 at  how many lbs  pull  should  your diver be set at ?  does it differ    for   what you have for lures   or how deep you are ?

during the heat of the summer   has anyone tried fishing  for  Kings at night.  With  all the glow stuff out there  now   I would think  to see  many boats out there  in the wee hours?

I am looking to purchase some proven flasher/dodger fly combos. you guys who use them everyday have any advise on that combos to get color name brand ? I was thinking of going a a tom mick as he does offer matched combos. any ideas guys ?
