  1. You can save a ton of money on rods and reels on ebay. I run Daiwa 47H reels on my downriggers, and Daiwa 47 line counters for my dipeys and planer board rods.
  2. I took another look at DEC Regs. It says tributary rules don't apply til the Northern most Route 14 bridge.. Sent from my SAMSUNG-SGH-I547 using Lake Ontario United mobile app
  3. Yes. Route 414 bridge is the line. Sent from my SAMSUNG-SGH-I547 using Lake Ontario United mobile app
  4. Absolutely. Just like a streamer. For Browns make sure to run a leader of flourocarbon or other invisible line. Browns are notoriously line and hardware shy. Sent from my SAMSUNG-SGH-I547 using Lake Ontario United mobile app
  5. I like one split shot to keep it running just under the surface. Sent from my SAMSUNG-SGH-I547 using Lake Ontario United mobile app
  6. We used to catch nice crappies on late ice on Wanita Lake. I haven't been over there in a long time.
  7. I'll let you in a little sectret. Try a squid off the planer boards. I don't run anything in front of it. The Browns like it. They like big flies too. Like the ones we run behind a dodger.
  8. We've tried them a few times on Cayuga and Seneca. We were actually hoping to catch bigger LL Salmon on them. Never caught anything on them.
  9. Guys tend to be pretty quiet about perch action. Seneca has some great perch but they can be tough to find. Sent from my SAMSUNG-SGH-I547 using Lake Ontario United mobile app
  10. It sounds like you guys might better be Perch fishing if you're going to Seneca Lake. Any good perch fishing results yet?
