Has anyone tried to make their own rubber extensions by simply bolting a bigger price of metal to their current rudders?

Follow up question, how do you connect the copper to the swivel?

What do you guys use to connect your copper to flouro leader?

What size are the balls?

My opinion- if it’s too rough in a 17 it’s too rough in a 23, and a pain in a 32. I’ve run everything in between and my general rule is don’t go out in rough weather and frankly the wave height that I don’t go out in didn’t change that much with the size of the boat. Another thing to consider is the age of the boat and how deep you want to go with just one engine. 12 miles put on a Sunday morning is different than 12 miles out on a Tuesday evening, if you use good judgment the size of the craft isn’t as important as the captain who pilots it.

I have alway done #3, pull the plugs, drain the block and poor antifreeze into the hoses. I never had any issues. Frankly I think most of the people who have issues miss a plug somewhere.

Does anyone know a company in the Rochester area that can haul a 30 flybridge and block it up?

Nope mechanical,

I have a flybridge with the autopilot on the lower helm. Needless to say my SportPilot I took off my old 21 CC isn’t doing the trick. Has anyone tried to rig a autohelm to troll with? It seem like a good fit for mechanical steering.

I’ve used both pro rebuilder and golden alternator and both do great work!

If they open Braddocks, they would have to open Sandy too. It is also in Monroe County. As a tournament organizer (Sandy Creek Shootout), I agree with the decision to keep it down to two ports. It is hard enough to police one port let alone three ports. If they had observers, it would be less of an issue but you would lose more participants.
What are the rules for Sandy this year?

Has anyone ever cut and shortened a depth raider cord coming from the down rigger? I’m trying to move mine to the platform from the dash. Or is there a standard shorter cord I can buy?

First off, love the MCOC, and excited to participate again this year! However, have to ask the question. Given Braddocks now has a well established (should say re-established) marina, launch and provisions, and is well within the Monroe county boundary, is it safe to assume that it will be acceptable to depart from there for the MCOC this year? I know that has not been allowed the past 2 years, but am asking that be reconsidered for this year given the genessee launch is closed, and braddocks is still functioning well.
Thank you for the consideration!

I bought a Lowance 7ti for the sole reason it has networking. Being able to have a app to see the fish finder is really cool for guests.

Can you be more specific on what the build looks like and material? These are fantastic!
