Wonder if some of the reason they set nets is because they didn't get the data from the low numbers of fish entered during the trout derby.

You are at the right spot. Talk with Larry Japp, he will help you or send you to the right guys at the marina who will get you on the right track for trout and salmon. Just don't ask any questions about the perch fishing and you will be fine.

Took home a skunk on Seneca last night.  First time out since the derby, ran to Dresden and fished N in 200-300 ft. of water.  One rigger w/attractor and gambler rig. Quit after n1 1/2 hr.  Brought up rigger and line all screwed up, so no wonder no fish.  No hits on three leader rig either.  Marked some but not a lot.  Still a nice night to get out.  Maybe next time.

Sutton troller totally correct. Normal dieoff of sawbellies no VHS in this. The normal for the future.

That should work. When my parents had a place at Peach Orchard, I used to throw a (light) anchor as far as I could into the weeds and pull it back. Make a channel 2,-3 feet wide. Fish will hang just inside there and wait to ambush smaller stuff. Worked pretty well

Depending on where you are and how deep off your dock, could be good right there. Around 6 feet and deeper with some worms could catch some bluegills, small perch and rock bass that will thrill a youngster.

A very happy bunch of anglers, Nick.  Just an fyi for everyone, dead sawbellies continue to wash up on the east shore in great numbers.  Even the seagulls are getting picky about which ones they eat.  Starting to remind me  of the 50`s and 60`s when they littered the swim beaches on Seneca. 

Ok, sounds good. I did find the back curtain, so everything is there.

New canvas is done, have a used (20 years) full canvas for 19 ft. 6 in. starcraft.  Bow cover, top w/sidecurtains and backdrop (if I can find it.  In good shape for it`s age, no holes in top or bow cover.  Come and get it.  Near Ovid.

I am really curious to see those micros. Are they on the market yet? Nick, also wondering if you are still seeing the eels.
