We had the exact same thing happen to us last Saturday morning. Right at the knot. Must be a monster out there somewhere.

I fished until noon Saturday and got nothing. Rods went off twice but unable to land anything. Not sure if I am going to go out this weekend, might give it another week or so to heat up a bit. Sounds like you guys are having some success out there. How deep are you running your lines? I had the Fish Hawk down this weekend and 53 degrees was only 20 feet down. We fished 60 to 30 in anywhere from 100 to 200 fow with nothing to show for it. Ran the dipsy's up around 20 so not sure if we are doing something wrong or we are just unlucky.

I'm going out of Bronte tomorrow morning. I have a feeling it is going to heat up this weekend or at least it is "fishful" thinking. Hopefully the wind out of the east will stir something up and we can all land some fish this weekend. Looking forward to it!

Anyone catching anything out of Bronte this week? I am going to give her a go tomorrow morning again see what we can come up with.

I tried posting a picture but it didn't come up too well. I used Big John mounts and then modified them to take the Scottys. This set up seems to work pretty good for my boat but you will just have to work with what you have. 2006 Regal Cuddy 2250

I'm going back out Saturday morning to wash some lures again. Hopefully we can pick up a couple this time.

I was out all day Saturday from 5:00 am to 8:30pm fished Bronte, Port Credit, and ran up to Bluffers around 1pm. Wasn't marking much at all and washed lures all day. Finally hooked a small King around 8pm in front of Bronte but he shook the bait. Burned a ton of fuel with nothing to show for it. Pretty disappointing I must say.

Right on well let me know if you get into any fish. I am baffled as to where to go and I really don't wan to just wash spoons all day. lol

Going out Saturday but not sure what to do. Fish out of Bronte or run up the lake to Port Credit or perhaps the islands. Anyone been up there? Catch anything? Really like to put something in the boat this weekend! Any suggestions would be much appreciated.

Anyone know roughly how long of a run it would be from Bronte Harbour to Bluffers Park?

I'm going to give it another try this Saturday morning. Hopefully we land a few as its been pretty disappointing so far. Keep our boat in Bronte so not sure how long of a run it would be up to Bluffers or Port Hope but I'm considering it.

Going out tomorrow hoping for some Salmon. So looks like most of you are saying 100 to 150 fow and 35 to 50'. Hopfully she heats up tomorrow.
