    Well, ended salmon season in Olcott.. 5 fish one day, 2 matures,2youngsters and a steelie and day 2, a mature, a youngin, 3 yr old, and a nice steelhead.. Seems the bait is nill in the area.. Only marked a few bait balls both days.. Oh well, thats why its called vacation, anything goes !! Wont give up, looks like lake needs to turn over to get things goin.. Good fishin all, will keep an eye out, just a 5 hr drive !!

    Seems a bit off this year. Couple kings and steelhead. Wonder if water is not turned over enough. New to area. Still a learning curve. Any pointers appreciated. Thanks all.

    If you purchase something and pay with PayPal, do not send as family/friends. No recourse if you get burnt. I learned the hard way on this site. Got took for 58.00

    Just keep a lot of space between boats. A 1/2 mile is being considerate. Definately different game than walleye. I fish western erie as well.

    New to the salmon trolling game..How do these sliders work ? Are they like a stackable cheater hooked onto main line ?

    I really dont know what colors work good. I believe greens and blues maybe black . I dont have alot to invest as just got boat motor rebuilt, shew, that hurt . Anyhow, maybe put some together and lmk what ya might want for em. Just getting started in salmon trolling so good advice will help. Thanks alot,Mike

    Looking for some used or reasonable priced rigger balls. I have old style cannon mag 10's and hope they will handle the 12 lbers. Any help or guidance would be appreciated. I live in Ohio so shipping would be needed. thanks all, Mike

    Coming from Ohio next week and was wanting to stop and purchase a few Magnum size spoons. Will be coming thru buffalo and lockport area. I know bait barn but any others on the way possibly for a stop.. thanks all..
