Thanks Thun. I glued and screwed it together. Stained it and polyurethaned it. This year i sold it. I pull my sleds with a deer drag harness that you wear like backpack straps and use two walking sticks to help me haul a heavy load. Easier than holding on to a rope.
Lowes sells an inexpensive small ultraviolet flashlight. This works better to "charge" glow in the dark jigs than a regular led light. Also works well in the dark to see where your dog peed on the carpet. Don't ask me how in know.
I love to see what other guys have made to help catch fish. Post some picks of your homemade equipment. Here is a couple of picks of my tip downs I made and the modified counter balanced rods I use.
Drop shot rig. 2 hooks. One a foot up and a foot above that one. Sometimes catch 2 at a time. Either fish on bottom with tight line and watch pole of use slip bobber. I was using a slip bobber of the end of the pier in 15 feet of water fishing just off bottom.
