  1. Up for sale is my 1997 Starcraft 170 Fishmaster. Equipped with a 75 HP Force that runs great and a 10Hp Honda kicker 4cycle that runs equally great with recent new impeller. These two attach with a stainless steering arm for trolling. The Honda will troll down to 1.8 MPH. Includes 2 Cannon Marlin electric downriggers with swivel bases and dual rod holders each with 4 cannon balls. Also includes 6 Scotty removable rod holders on each side of the boat. 4 swivel seats with cushions. Hummingbird Helix 5 so/GPS sonar. Bow Mount Minn Kota foot controlled trolling motor with new Group 29 deep cycle battery this summer. Has planer board mast and 2 single ski planers. Also includes heavy duty canvas storage cover. Also has bimini top. Has 12v power winch. Boat is solid and has solid floors and transom. This is a true multi species boat and can be set up to troll off shore, bass fish, walleye fish and is great for late season perch. This boat is located in Rochester. Contact me by phone or text at 585-943-2579 for additional information. $5000.00

  3. Good walleye fishing in that spot also.
  4. $379 + tax no shipping cost with Prime Sent from my SM-G920V using Lake Ontario United mobile app
  5. Got my new Eskimo Wide 1 and cover through my favorite site Amazon. 1½ hours of sweat putting it together on a muggy night thinking of hard water fishing and the salmon run hasn't even started yet let alone deer season!
  6. I had an Otter Cabin I just sold on here. Too heavy for me to drag. I even built a Smitty Sled but found it daunting especially in snow. Sent from my SM-G920V using Lake Ontario United mobile app
  7. I just ordered an Eskimo Wide 1 Inferno 1 man shelter. Anyone have one? How do you like it? Can't wait to get it and put it together.
  8. I know its early for this but I am selling my Otter Cabin 2 man flip over. I bought this new 2 years ago and did not use it last year. I built a Smitty Sled out of Oak and a pair of water skis. Turns out I am getting a little out of shape to be dragging this out on the ice. This is the Cadillac of 2 man shelters. Cost me $700 + time to assemble and supplies and time for Smitty Sled. I also have the correct travel cover. I pull it with a deer drag shoulder harness and hiking poles and it drags very well. Perfect like new condition with no rips or tears. Always stored inside and dried after the few times I went out in it. Looking to sell for $400 or trade for better quality one man flip over and cash. Located in Rochester, NY
  9. Looking for indoor storage for my 17' Fishmaster on a trailer. Going in about middle of November. I live in Greece so something in the Rochester area would be good.
  10. I'm going to contact them on Monday. Thanks.
  11. Just installed a Humminbird Helix SI transducer and at plane it creates a rooster tail that wets my outboard. I installed it as per the instructions. I have read several articles on line about this and see some homemade "guards" to prevent this. If I raise it above the bottom of the boat I'm afraid I will lose readings at speed. Anyone have any experience with this?
  12. I grew up on a 1970 Stamas my Dad had for 14 years. Bought new in Henderson Harbor. Twin 6cyl I/o's. I love the boat your selling. Wish I was in the market as I would seriously consider yours. You should have no problem selling it if your buyer knows what the Stamas is all about. Sent from my SM-G920V using Lake Ontario United mobile app
  13. Thought I would share what I made after reading this post. I had an old Willie planer mast with no base. I didn't want to Mount it permenently. I bought the fence post as suggested here and some ½ threaded rod and made this to fit in my seat pedestal mount. I have not tried it out yet and was wondering for those of you who have this set up does it work well? I would hate to see it come loose and smash my windshield. I did wrap a bit of electrical tape at the base to tighten it up. Should I put a strap around it to the bow cleat to put back tension on it? Let me know your thoughts.
  14. Hi everyone. Been a lurker and poster in the ice fishing section for a while now. Just bought a StarCraft 170 Fishmaster so now getting back into lake and bay fishing. I live in Rochester and plan on fishing the Upstate NY area. I've been reading a lot on here and like that I can glean some info from each and everyone of you. Thanks and I look forward to adding my 2 cents once and a while. Joe.
  15. Caught this guy and released him while perch fishing Long Pond this morning.
  16. Once the center pivot breaks through the bottom of the hole its all up to the blade and Sk8man may be right about the blade angle that last rotation or two.
  17. 2 perch on tip ups and 4 flags. Wasn't jigging. 3" of good ice.
  18. Nice to be out and have some tip ups in the ice. About 3" of good ice.
  19. I sure hope we get ice. I have a ton of new equipment I want to use.
