  1. When i had the fiberglass boat i used grease lightning in the yellow bottle, worked excellent, Then if you get the real heavy scum on the bottom use stuff called ( the works) toilet bowl cleaner, you would be amazed on what that takes off. fish-on!

  2. I had that happen in pulaski salmon fishing at douglaston, I guy four people down from me, hooked me in the top of my right ear, He didn't know and kept yanking his pole, Thought he got a snag in the trees, I finally yelled at him, cut the _ _ _ _ out!! I finally twisted it out, Very painful.

  3. Hey, Just put one in my boat, Love it!! You can take the power cable apart, The end that screws on the backside of your x4, MAKES IT ALOT SMALLER. If you look inside of the threaded part you'll see a wire washer, Work that up and out with a small screwdriver, Pull the threaded part off, That makes the power cord smaller and easier to run threw your transom, You don't have to drill a monster hole. fish-on! Put it back together once you get threw the transom.

  4. Hi, Put mine in two weeks ago, love it!! I had the same problem with the plugin going threw the clamshell hole, You can take the fitting apart, Use a small screwdriver, There's a small wire washer inside of the threaded part that screws on the back of your x4, Work that washer out with the screwdriver, don't spread it out to much, Once thats out just pull the threaded part off. That makes the whole deal alot smaller. fish-on!

  5. Selling this for a friend, same boat as previously listed....we were misinformed on a little information: This boat is a 1972 Boston Whaler, 16 1/2'. It comes with a 1987-1989 Mercury 90 hp Oil injected, power tilt and trim (which works great, just needs a new starter...this is why the great price!) The bendix won't kick up to fly wheel, can be pull started. Trailer is a single axle roller with 15" tires, it's a 1988 EZ/Loader. Center console needs sanding and a little paint, little TLC. This boat is an ex DEC police boat (stickers for that have been removed). Knowing that 90 hp motors go for 3K+, this entire package is an ABSOLUTE STEAL at $1800!!!! All paper work is available and ready. Contact me via " fish-on " or call my cell 607-279-8194.
