    I went out Sunday with my boys and their friends south of the mountain and had a total of 11 lakers and a 24lb king that ripped out 200 ft of line pulled all the other lines had to turn the boat around to avoid losing him.     I spent the weekend fishing out of Henderson Harbor and fished the lanes both days. Saturday was a little rough with left over swells but landed 8 lakers and 1 huge mature king weighing 21lbs and lost 2 others. Sunday we had 7 lakers, 1 king and lost another large mature king that screamed out 150 ft of line. Overall a good weekend! Sent from my SM-G900V using Lake Ontario United mobile app

    Silver Fox I will explain one more time I work for a police department I get called into frequently and that's what happened on that Monday you are referring to and the following friday. That same Friday night my uncle passed away. Now since everyone on this forum knows the whole story I think it's time for you to grow up. My life and work comes before buying a down rigger, I believe any "normal" person can understand this..... Have a great day.

    Thanks Rez It's been tough fishing my first 2 outings this year..... We are fishing out of Henderson Harbor and went to Black River Bay for Walleyes last weekend and got skunked. Tried using spoons and stick baits on planer boards but nothing... That is the one fish I have yet to catch.. Back at it this weekend.

    I figured this would be a good place to learn techniques and get pointers from guys who have been on the lake for several years. I purchased a 2006 Trophy 2352WA last fall with big ambitions to catch monster fish from Walleye, Bass to Kings and Lakers. I enjoy my family time with my 4 boys and my wife, what better way to spend time with them fishing right? I thank God that they all love to fish! I look forward to learning new things from the other members here.
