thanks for the info!!! 1 more question from me.......I assume if putting on a board, you need to be on backing for attaching release?? or will the release not "kink" the wire??? thanks again!!!

new to copper here.......what, you just run flasher/fly or flasher/spoon off the copper? on boards?????

have been fishing erie for 20 years. Dad wants to catch a salmon so we are going to olcott labor day weekend. have never fished Ontario or for salmon and was wondering if I could get some help on what to expect and also what channel everyone runs on over there. I have riggers/big boards/dipsys......just need to hear what I should use on them, starting places....etc...etc... thanks, greg
