Cant wait!!! actually might stay for weigh in this time, fishing is somewhat back to normal

Caught 7 Land Locks saturday trolling north of sampson (released 4) with my buddy for 333 tourney west side. Launching from geneva would probably work. Used seth green rigs with bright colored stingers and typical suttons. Marked a ton if fish suspended in 50-70 fow and on the bottom. Fished over deep water 180-250 and 100 ft for lakers. Buddy caught 2 lakers today around long point.

Thanks Guys! I was curious about the total entrants and was hoping the new committee did not run into any financial issues. I would contribute to an advertising fund if there was one. 

Anybody know how the official turnout was this year? Or any other information It looked promising and was a hell of a lot of fun.

A kicker gives you the piece of mind of never being stranded and extra confidence if you have a POS like me. Also, docking with a kicker is childs play, especially when you can roll in at 1.3 knots as opposed to 3 knots. it makes a big difference. Less wear and tear on your main motor, i have an OMC Cobra and it is one issue after the other.... Sk8man has it nailed!!! Fishing aside, i can now take my children out on the water without freaking out. Definitely worth the investment, (i bought a Merc 9.9 Xtra long shaft with a 4 bladed propeller, my boat is 3900 dry and it tops out at 5 knots)

Nick we dont have to launch from Sampson for this correct? I usually give my entry fee to my coworker to pay for me and i fish the South End.
