  1. Wow that really sucks, never heard of such a thing from a fly bite! The flies have been horrible this year, I use Avon skin so soft, seems to work good so far at repelling the flies. I really feel sorry for you, good luck!

Thanks, I did invasion having to do some fiberglass reinforcements if I decided to put these to use. I'm going to have to put some sort of gusset in that area!! I've never seen anything like these units, they have a cannon motor and cable out to the end of the boom with like a cannon swiveling wheel on the end and the guys has those 10# fish weights that are bent to take your line out. To me it looks like a cannon downrigger on steroids!!

I think you scored, they sound awesome!

Good luck to everyone, headed home yesterday early morning.

I might be back not sure.

I am going to fish for stripers and Haddock next weekend.

Haddock fishing has been very good on Stellwagen bank, best I have seen in years as I have been twice and easily caught 100 plus fish with my friends.

Thanks for all the reports you posted! Good luck on the haddock, post some pictures!

  4. How did you come up with your copper at 30 feet down? Were you running them off boards? How many feet are your copper setups? We run meat rigs on our copper but you can use flasher/flies. A fishhawk to me is more important than a fish finder, definitely money well spent. Also you may want to consider going on a charter to shorten your learning curve. Or you can see if anyone is willing to take you out for the day and show you a few things. I'd offer but I'm out of state and when I do make it up I already have a crew with me.
