  1. Just saw a picture on another post of a seth green  rig. I thought I knew what it was but I guess not. Just a spool that holds line ? Dose it have a handle to reel with ? Is it like the bandit reels that tuna guys use with green sticks ? I'm curious now.    Thanks,   Matt

  2. My garmin unit is a 77/200 hz . Like I said it doesn't bother all the time but on occasion it dose. I have a single transducer mounting plate on the boat. Space is limited because of the kicker. When it dose bother I switch freq for awhile and then turn it back to the lower freq. Most days it only happens once or twice. no my garmin is not a chirp unit. The people at fishhawk were very nice and responsive to my questions. Good luck,    Matt

  3. Toying with the idea of adding uv tape to some old spinnys. Do those of you who have done this remove the old tape or add to it? One more question, what uv tape is most effective? I didn't realize that there were that many colors. Thank you for you response,   Matt

If you want to spring for a chartered trip check out Reel Deal charters. Been fishing with them around June first for a bunch of years now. Lots of surface action and the captains are first rate. For a real blast go tuna fishing with them in the fall. We caught our first giant last October. Unbelievable trip!
