I save the ff's for the O, only because I've seem to have more success with spoons and small dodgers. Basic black, green, blue, and silver stingers. Only down fall is they like to wack the dodgers occasionally. Keep at it.

Temp fish at the 120, stagers at the 80 over labor day off the pond. Tight to the bottom. Heard someone picked up a dandy Atlantic. Waiting for pics. Good luck

Another Silver on site, been on the water since I was born. 55 years later still cruising, teaching, and learning. Fish Mexico in spring for browns, and again labor day till when ever for salmon and stealhead. Cut my teeth on trout trolling in the finger lakes. Home is Berks County Pa. Live to fish, and hunt. See you around site.

Tough weekend for me, one 8 1/2 laker, and one 6 lb brown, couldn't hook a king for nothing. Lots of short strikes, must have been trout. Great weather though. Charters were getting some

He told me I didn't know the difference between a brown and an Atlantic. Thanks

Spent all weekend dragging the O wishing I was on Cayuga. Took one 8.6 laker and one 6lb brown. Couldn't get a king to save my but. Got into an argument with an old associate over how big the Atlantic's get in Cayuga. I said 10 to 12 lbs. He says 6 to 7. Childish fun ,but does anyone have pics.

See you this weekend boys and girls, bring your armor and your patience. A bucket of tomatoes and grandma's old bra could be fun. Happy hunting!

Try it in a 16' with a 25hp tiller, 2 easy trolls, and 2 dipseys. Oh, and Pa tags. They're just fish. I'm good with picking up the scraps on the outside .

Interesting read, covered entire blog. I'm just a dumb ss from Pa. but my overall take after 20 yrs in river and 10 on the lake is this......kick everybody out of the sandbox for 3 yrs and let mother nature figure it out. We might be surprised. But we all know that will never happen, too much money at stake.

Good read, keep it simple stupid. They say 10% of the fishermen catch 90% of the fish, but every squirrel finds a nut sooner or later. Keep at it

That's a shame, I would be curious as to why, but that would turn into debates. We have enough of that on TV. Just fish
