  1. Yeah, time snuck up on me so it looks like we will be staying at the best Western and have a 30 min or so morning drive to launch. Appreciate the info though guys Sent from my SM-G900V using Lake Ontario United mobile app
  2. Custom sizes installed in my ranger 621. Thanks again Al! The middle one is obviously going to be mounted as well just gotta get some hooks. They turned out great, can't wait to use them! Sent from my SM-G900V using Lake Ontario United mobile app
  3. Awesome thanks for the info, that's exactly what I'm looking for. My boat is a ranger 621 so ig they work for your boat they will be more than enough for me Sent from my SM-G900V using Lake Ontario United mobile app
  4. So the rigid "dually" style lights (with the 4 LEDS in a square) are plenty to light the back deck? How many do you run, just 2? Sent from my SM-G900V using Lake Ontario United mobile app
  5. Are you all running split rings on the front of your spoons or just hooking the snap directly to the hole in the spoon? What leads from the ball are most common for the spring (niagara bar) on downrigger rods? Sent from my SM-G900V using Lake Ontario United mobile app
  6. Asking 1200 for both with the bases...or best offer of course Sent from my SM-G900V using Lake Ontario United mobile app
  7. PayPal $40 shipped? Sent from my SM-G900V using Lake Ontario United mobile app
  8. Have (6) church walleye boards with tattle flags in great shape. About 2 years old, probably only used a dozen times. Come with tattle flags, all the standard clips and releases plus I made brass rear pins (also have the original plastic ones) and smoothed out every edge on the boards (used them for salmon and didn't want the line to chafe when front clip released). $70/pair OBO shipped Sent from my SM-G900V using Lake Ontario United mobile app
  9. Open to offers, shoot me a PM with what you have in mind. I will be out that way fishing too so if you're interested I can bring them and we could possibly meet up instead of shipping Sent from my SM-G900V using Lake Ontario United mobile app
  10. Looking for some suggestions for lighting for the back of my boat, plan on putting some LEDs mounted on my tree style rod holders (tallest thing on my boat) to give me some light for setting lines etc in early morning and after sunset. Looking for something kinda small so they don't get in the way, probably flood light of some sort. Problem is, these days there are a million LED lights out there so I'm hoping someone can recommend a specific brand that is bright enough for this purpose. may put a small LED spot light on each side too pointed towards the water so it's easier to see the fish to net then when it's dark but I think I can pick those out easy enough, it's the flood style for lighting up the deck that I'm not sure about Sent from my SM-G900V using Lake Ontario United mobile app
  11. How many hours on the motor? Sent from my SM-G900V using Lake Ontario United mobile app
  12. Very impressed with Al's service and the product quality. I'm gonna load them with lures, mount them and put up pictures for everyone to see tomorrow Sent from my SM-G900V using Lake Ontario United mobile app
  13. Looking to head out for the first and/or second weekend in May to fish the Niagara Bar. Anyone have suggestions on places to stay? Parking with a 21ft boat is a must as I trailer my rig, electric plug in to charge batteries at night would be a plus Sent from my SM-G900V using Lake Ontario United mobile app

  15. Selling 2 big Jon sportsman electric down riggers, in great shape well taken care of. Come with Berts track swivel bases for track mount. Also have a spare switch I'll include, always kept one on the boat just in case. Run around $1700 for riggers and bases if you order online and ship and go through all that hassle. Asking $1200 OBO, I'll throw in 2 12# cannon balls at asking price, however reasonable offers obviously considered. I'm in MI but should be able to unscrew the booms and ship fairly reasonably Sent from my SM-G900V using Lake Ontario United mobile app
  16. Pm sent Sent from my SM-G900V using Lake Ontario United mobile app
  17. I just measured my boat, any chance you can make these in 36 wide x13 tall size? If so what would the price and lead time be? Or should I just get the magnum size you already have and trim the bottom a bit? Sent from my SM-G900V using Lake Ontario United mobile app
  18. Here's a dumb question, is there any equivalent to carfax for boats? Or if a boat has been say partially underwater or had a collision and been repaired is that stuff that a good surveyor just finds in their process? Sent from my SM-G900V using Lake Ontario United mobile app
  19. That was kind of my thoughts, I've been told a tiara 27 is a great option if I'm doing some trailering but a 29 is too wide. But you need a permit for each and I don't believe you need a pilot car till 12 foot so I'm not seeing the difference between the two Sent from my SM-G900V using Lake Ontario United mobile app
  20. Thanks, it's not something I would trailer daily but I would probably take it from MI to NY in the spring, leave in a slip and bring back to MI in the late summer or fall. I guess it's probably best I take it slow and fish Lake O in the ranger this year and if my days on the water are plentiful enough that I think I may want a 27 or 29 to go in a slip out there then start shopping. I'm kinda picky, so maybe it's best I look for an older 27 with good power train and redo the cabin to make it nicer, I dunno maybe more cost effective that way. If that 29 was as good of a deal as it initially seemed I didn't want to pass it up without looking into it anyway Sent from my SM-G900V using Lake Ontario United mobile app
  21. Hmm, may be too risky of a proposition for my comfort... I mis spoke too, the engines are crusader 454s Is the 2900 open relatively trailer able or if I'm looking for that should I stick with 27 exclusively? Sent from my SM-G900V using Lake Ontario United mobile app
  22. Is this stuff that would be found with a survey or is just typical with salt water boats? Sent from my SM-G900V using Lake Ontario United mobile app
  23. So...I was planning on holding off on this purchase for a while and wasn't actively looking but couldn't sleep last night and was browsing what's out there. I found a 1998 tiara 2900 for $35k, 1000 hours on twin 454 mercruisers. It is a salt water boat. Blue book was somewhere between 45 and 55 depending on options and other similar models same age listed were 50-60 Owners are moving out of the country at the end of April and must sell is the story being told. Should I have a mechanic look into it just to see or is that far too good to be true and run like hell? Sent from my SM-G900V using Lake Ontario United mobile app
  24. What are prices? I'm assuming you can ship using something like a post office flat rate box? Sent from my SM-G900V using Lake Ontario United mobile app
  25. I will let you know, gotta go stand in my boat and think about best placement lol. Peel n stick hooks are a great idea as well! Sent from my SM-G900V using Lake Ontario United mobile app
