  1. Thank you very much for the input. There are a lot of things i will take out with me the next time i go. I love to fish for lake trout. But most of all i love to smoke them and eat them. Call me crazy but i love the taste.

  2. For some reason im having bad luck losing lakers as soon as they break the surface out away from the boat. Is this something im doing incorrectly? Should i lighten my drag more for these soft lip fish? i usually use spoons with treble hooks. any insights would be appreciated.

  3. She is just getting started but is really hitting it out of the park. She started selling some here recently and can’t keep them in stock. She keeps the price low and the quality high.  $8 for stick bait and $7 for the 1.5 square bills. Hopefully she can get a bunch doe and do some swap meets or something. She is only 19 and trying to find her way in this big world.

I can see why someone would use the KBS paints they are some awesome looking colors, but I did see both the spray on clear and the brush on epoxy which is used on lures for hardness. Some awesome looking pics. With their colors for sure!!. I’ll stick with createx and wicked colors, only because that’s the paints that I learned with and now have an idea what the consistencies are supposed to look like before using!!! Thanks for sharing. Once I get my self to a better painter than what I can accomplish I’ll try other stuff but for now just practicing the basics.

We use wicked color and createx as well she just uses the KBS Diamond clear coat for finish only.

  5. My daughter uses KBS diamond it is automotive clear coat. She hasn’t done to many spoons but the stick bait and crank bait look awesome and are rugged. Look it up on you tube. It isn’t expensive but worth it in the end we believe.

  6. Im just getting started in this type of fishing. I have two downrigger rods and a couple bigger spinning rods to get started with. I would like to have 6 rods all together to have a good spread or the option to have a good spread. I am planning on going to the Brewerton fire hall event. Would there be rod and reels there as well? Also what is your opinion of what combos to have for a new guy. I already run 2 rods per rigger and just picked up some divers and also have big planer boards, but have not used them yet. Thank you in advance this group is awesome as far as the help and support you provide. I hope there will be a day when i can give back to you all.
