I don’t fish that end of the lake but all the natural colors would be a start. Black/ silver. blue/ silver. Those same colors reversed. All my lures I found that those with orange bellies produce more action. Then it also depends on what species you are targeting. For other go to colors, don’t forget the uv coat!!

My daughter is a artist as well as a photographer and would like to air brush some lures for me. Could you guys help with some goto colors and other ideas relating to lure painting. I have a bunch of older rapalas to start of with.

My daughter has heard me speak of spoons so she bought me 30 2” spoons for $10. They are all different styles and colors. I’m just not sure the best way to utilize them. I am used to larger trolling spoons. Any insight is welcomed thank you in advance. 

Pap I’m new to this site but not to life. My family has recently buried my mother in law due to Cancer. Take refuge that your loved one is no longer in pain and feeling as if they are a burden. And as I am a God fearing man I believe there is a heaven and a I pray that Ronnie is with the Lord. And I pray that others will remember him and Honor him with memories. The shallows were clear and seemed clear at the north end. The fish were all over in 150 fow some up in 60 but most were deep.

We went to owasco today. Marked fish but nothing moving. Should have went to Cayuga. 

So I am new to this style of fishing.  I just started to understand some of this fishing and it shuts down. Does it typically do this in the fall to winter months. If so when does it generally pick back up. Or am I totally off and they are still hitting just not what I am doing lol. Thank you for your input in advance.

Does anyone have decent wind forecast for tomorrow? I'm trying to get out before noon. Or should I go to owasco?
