Launched this AM and fished in 12-18 fow East bound. Water temp of 37 degrees. We ran Michigan Stingers off planer boards and went 6 for 6 during the 3 hour run. Gold perch, Carmel dolphin, Sodus Point buckeye, and Fat Nancy’s all scored. Great to finally get a line wet!
Went to South boat launch on Hemlock this AM. Shore ice too thin to walk on. There is open water in the shallows. Should be able to shore fish soon. Saw two bald eagles on the ice edge. Beautiful morning for a drive!
I’m gearing up for spring Browns and replacing some of my fathers “legacy” tackle with Michigan Stingers. Which size is most productive, standard, or stingray?
