1986 Bayliner trophy 2460
SBC 350 inboard (hrs unknown) I changed the oil regularly mid season and before layup everyear. This past winter I rebuilt alternator ,distributor and pulled motor to instal new oil pan. Motor runs great.
Volvo penta 275 outdrive that never seen water till I installed it in 2018. I bought a boat with a really nice trailer and the outdrive was new on there so I took it off and gave the boat away on my old trailer. the original outdrive goes with it as a spare that was in good workin condition also. (Just wanted the new unit on it. Lol)
Trailer is a 2016 Aluminum tandem axel in good condition. I believe there 3500lb axels under it and the boat weighs 4800lb. I have NY transferable registration for trailer and Pa title for boat.
gear included is 4 older big jon downriggers. 2 work and the other two stopped workin first trip this spring when I took it out of storage. Garmin sv73 fishfinder/gps. Hummingbird helix5 on the back of the boat. Rocket louncher. 6 rodholders for dipseys or junklines. Also a set of planermasts with superski boards. A couple riggerballs also.
And 12or so lifehackets.
this boat is turnkey and has been great to me for my first “big boat”. I trailered it every other weekend 2.5hrs from scranton pa to Mexico Ny, until this spring I got a slip in salmon country.
The boat is located at my house near Scranton Pa. Only reason I’m selling it is becouse I got my new Bigger boat, a Baha weekender 280. Really dont want to part with it but wife is gonna get mad this winter when I got two boats in the garage and no room for her truckits 25ft long and I believe 8.5ft beam.
Asking price is $5500
if anyone is interested send me a PM with your number and I can give more info over the phone.
Thanks.

So when I get to my boat Saturday first thing is first. Strip down and go waste deep in the launch. If i get ICNS then that means lake flipped and fish close to shore. Who needs a fish hawk with this kinda knowledge
-
Well u came to the right place. Welcome to the site. Alot of great members that r not afraid to share Info. I started fishin the lake 4years ago with minimal knowledge and the members here guided me to put meat on the deck. Good luck out there.

Sent from my iPhone using Lake Ontario United mobile appSo would you say the lake “Flipped” after the hard blow last weekend? Temp has been way down and offshore all year pretty much. I Recently got a fish hawk so I’m payin more attention to temps. In other words this weekend I dont have to motor out 15miles.lol. And the fish are gonna b staging up. Pretty much this is what we needed on the east end all year. Am I almost right???

Just curious when Kings are starting to stage. So you guys still run meat? I know j plugs are a staple at that time. Wondering are the colors the same.
Last year meat was hot in 80FOW in front of big river. There was a day late august last year I left my meat at the house and only ran spoons and a J-plug. I went 3-4. By noon. Guys were boxed out at 8am on meat.
I’ll be fishing Saturday. Gonna run a 6 rod spread. Meat n a FF on the two riggers. Mag spoons cheated on top of them.meat rig on dipsey. Mag spoon on other dipsey.
400copper off board with silver J-plug.
400copper off other side with mag spoon.
i feel theres enough stuff out there with a spread like that and can adjust to what there hitting as I go. -

Right? I don’t do well with theft. Couple times I encountered it I’m lucky I didn’t get jammed up.
I do worse with vandalism, disrespect of property, not a fan.
The more people suffer the consequences of their actions, the less they’re apt to repeat it.
Sent from my iPhone using Lake Ontario UnitedAbsolutely. Just thinkin of this situation has my blood boiling. If it was my boat a drift in the marina, someone is goin have more serious problems then just a couple months/years in the pen.
-
Wow. That would be my life sentence. Hope all ended well with that situation.

I went to the nearby restaurant and asked them to move their boat. The punks got belligerent but did move their boat. However they came back later that night and untied my boat and let it drift away. It bounced down the docks and luckily wedged in a boatyard. Not too much damage. They had an easily identifiable boat and it didn't take the Sheriff too long to find them. Probably nothing will happen to them.

I have two newer lowerence units on my boat I bought. No where near as clear as the helix. Whats the price tag on it?

This time of year u would think mexico But fishin been real tough this year but the boys out today did well as u see. After fishin out of the oak earlier in the year I would fish there any day over mexico and move the boat out of salmon country, but its 4.5 hrs away from me compared to mexico 2.5hrs.
-
Good work fellas
-
Finally. Looks like there makin there move

I use the same flasher pictured in 8” with an A-Tom-Mik Rys Davis warship Uv meat rig. Been one of my most productive meat rig this year.

another way I try to find the speed there after for the day is running S turns. I keep my downspeed at 2.3 and start S turning. If my outside dipsey or junk lines fire then I kick my speed up to 2.8 ish and troll straight. Inside fires i kick the downspeed to 2.0. If a rigger fires then I check my downspeed and keep it at that becouse the S turns don’t speed up and slow down the riggers much. If this makes sense. Lol

Pa223 hit the nail on the head. Let it out slow under drag always and u wont have a problem on any setting. No need to pull the rigger if it fires. Good luck out there

Well thats a good question. I run a baha 280 weekender and consider that a small craft at times. Lol.

I will say thou. Im in salmon country,my slip is the dock The paying public uses for launchin there boats. So theres alot of people on my dock from day to day. My tournament partner went to the captains meeting for the little salmon shootout and went on my boat to put the paperwork on the dash. He was on the boat for 2min and Bob the owner cane flyin down on his golf cart askin who, what, and why are u on this boat. Really gave me a sense of security. I have a good idea whos boat is whos’ around me and I can spot suspicious activity a mile away. I wouldnt think twice about askin someone if thats your boat or what are u doin. I do agree with Gator. we all gotta keep an eye out for skumbags screwin with others gear/boat.
