  1. Lakers are out of season , so I didn't bother with them Sent from my LGL164VL using Lake Ontario United mobile app
  2. We went out last Friday out of Oswego. It was a nice day out there, and we didn't do too bad for our first time. Went out to about 140 FOW at the deepest point. But got most of the action between 90 and 70fow. Sent from my LGL164VL using Lake Ontario United mobile app
  3. I heard Henderson was good for Walleye as well, is that true? Sent from my LGL164VL using Lake Ontario United mobile app
  4. I always have a plan B, but I like plan A so much better! Should I just watch the weather or is there a good wave forecast site I could watch. Sent from my LGL164VL using Lake Ontario United mobile app
  5. I was hoping to drag my boat up to Oswego this Friday to do some fishin for the first time on my own, if the wave forecast holds true. I was hoping to get some Lakers, but I just read the season closes Sept 30th. What else could I go for this time of year, Browns, Salmon, maybe even walleye? I'm new to this whole great lakes thing, so please excuse my ignorance if I said something stupid. Sent from my LGL164VL using Lake Ontario United mobile app
  6. I did not take them out. Just 2 screws ? Or do I have to pull off the side panels Sent from my LGL164VL using Lake Ontario United mobile app
  7. Is there screws in the rod lockers holding the deck down as well? Sent from my LGL164VL using Lake Ontario United mobile app
  8. Ohh, so the foam must be what's getting me. Also 3 of the screws on the main deck were in basically sideways and stripped. Had to drill them out. Still gotta remove the shanks once I actually get the deck off. Thanks. I was starting to fear for the safety of that rear platform with how aggravated I was getting. You might of saved it! 9. I just bought a helix 9 mega SI, and I'm trying to remove the rear deck so I can get access to remove the old one and install the helix. But man is this thing giving me fits. Was it a pain in the ass for you, or reletivally simple? Sent from my LGL164VL using Lake Ontario United mobile app
  10. So far the brocraft brackets seem very stable. Had it out in some rollers over the weekend with 10 lb balls and I wasn't worried about them a bit. Sent from my LGL164VL using Lake Ontario United mobile app
  11. How many of those brackets do you have ? I might be interested in them. Sent from my LGL164VL using Lake Ontario United mobile app
  12. I just purchased the brocraft brackets. They came in the mail today. I was going to buy those brackets you have, but they were out of stock. Ill have to let you know if I like these ones are not, first I guess. Sent from my LGL164VL using Lake Ontario United mobile app
  13. Oh. Nice. That makes it really easy. Sent from my LGL164VL using Lake Ontario United mobile app
  14. Nice, thank you. I didnt think that I'd be able to get the backer plate in there. Not without killing the back of the rod lockers at least. Sent from my LGL164VL using Lake Ontario United mobile app
  15. The access is definitely going to be tricky. I might be able to get there through my rod lockers. Sent from my LGL164VL using Lake Ontario United mobile app
  16. I felt like the middle of my gunnels was pretty weak. I could be mistaken though. Sent from my LGL164VL using Lake Ontario United mobile app
  17. Seems like it would be much cheaper to get a backer and bolt them down directly, because to get 12 brackets is close to $500! Sent from my LGL164VL using Lake Ontario United mobile app
  18. Did you use the versa track system to mount your other tracks or just bolt them down Sent from my LGL164VL using Lake Ontario United mobile app
  19. Just purchased this Targa 5 days ago, I mainly fish The Great Sacandaga, but I plan on taking a few trips out to the O every now and again. I haven't set it up for trolling yet , but I'm thinking of getting the Traxstech tracks, and going that route with downriggers and planer boards. I was wondering if anyone has pictures of how their Targa is set up , so I have something to go by, or at least take some ideas from since this is my first fishing boat I'm setting up. Any help would be appreciated. Sent from my LGL164VL using Lake Ontario United mobile app
