  1. Hey, Fishstix..I have a FCV 587 for sale. PM me if you want details
  2. Furuno FCV 587 in good used condition. Screen is 100%, no delam, works as it should. Has a bit of sun-fade on the outside casing but screen is virgin like new Includes power cord, dust cover, surface mount hardware, original Furuno box with full paperwork/operating manual etc . Read up on this unit—-has an industry reputation of being one of the best sounders you can put on a boat—-nice to have 1Kw options and this unit has that, although a transom mount 600W P66 will light it up the 587 like a Christmas tree Will ship to your door for $ 675
  3. OK, thanks. Shipping would have been stupid so good move
  4. I have a very large Frabill I paid well over $ 100 for. It’s built to withstand WWIII —-the downside, it’s too heavy for a guy like me who fishes alone to hold the net in one hand while fighting a fish in the other—-it’s definitely designed for two hands operation. It’s essentially brand new—-my guess it’s similar to this one: https://www.amazon.com/Frabill-Landing-32x41-Inch-Teardrop-72-Inch/dp/B0084EIZSI/ref=asc_df_B0084EIZSI/?tag=hyprod-20&linkCode=df0&hvadid=312139903133&hvpos=1o1&hvnetw=g&hvrand=1279908027352831476&hvpone=&hvptwo=&hvqmt=&hvdev=t&hvdvcmdl=&hvlocint=&hvlocphy=9033324&hvtargid=pla-550782735046&psc=1 I’d have to ship —-I’ll deliver it to your door for $ 80.00 if you’re interested——my guess, with the money you’d save over buying new, you could replace the current mesh with C&R friendly mesh and still be money ahead of buying new—this one is HUGE, designed for 50 lb fish + —-has rivets to weight the bag and make it tangle-free but it’s not the true modern rubberized mesh, though I have released fish out if no problem.... This fish I didn’t release......the net did what it was supposed to do.... of it no problem
  5. Those 582’s were good units but they don’t fire 1Kw. Neither does the 1850. Try and find a used GP7000F—-you can find those cheap and they fire 1Kw, same as Dff1. good luck
  6. Hi Fishstix, Nope, the DFF1 is designed specifically for the Furuno NavNet series but will also work with Furuno VX1 and VX2. It has an Ethernet connection so if you wanted to save some money and get a nice package, you could pick up an older 7” VX1 or VX2 for a few hundred bucks and get a cord with Ethernet on one side and 6-pin on the the other which would solve the connect-ability part. I have the connectors for this and could put a package together. The DFF1 has the same circuitry as the 587 and 588 and will fire both 600W and 1 Kw like those sonar units—-you just need a screen to show the goods I know several guys selling a 7” VX2 which would be perfect for the DFF1 (you’d get GPS + chartplotter + sonar). Unfortunately, they don’t include the bracket so you’d have to flush-mount into a console
  7. The Furuno DFF1 is a black box sonar module. Good used condition. Will fire up either a 600W transducer or a 1Kw transducer; good used condition. Includes power cord Price Drp: $ 250 shipped to your door...pix available on request
  8. I have a DFF1 sounder module in used condition. Powers up 100% . Comes with power cord and 6-pin Ethernet cable The only issue: collar for power cord has a slight chip but power cord locks in tight with zero wobble $ 325 shipped to your door

  10. Hey rollmops—-the FCV588 will fire both a 600W or a 1Kw transducer. The FCV 587 (its older bother) will also fire either a 600W of a 1Kw transducer I’m thinking of selling my FCV587.....let me know if you’re interested..... contact me at ericmp77 at hotmail dot com. Thanks
  11. Hi Cody—-I’m interested. Please respond to Ericmp77 at hotmail dot com. I have some questions about the unit. Thanks
