Salmon ,Walleye,Browms and Lakers are all within a 10-20minute ride from the cut. If your boat is smaller you can be productive relatively close to shore from association to the lighthouse outside the cut. And there are fish inside the bay if the wind gets blowing. Bill saiff outdoors has a facebook page and he does a decent job describing current conditions and what they are catching and sometimes where.

30 minutes ago, Big fat pike said:
East winds wouldnt that mean he would end up towards buffalo
Also i doubt he would have gotten to blind sodus bay so quickly
That is true, although I guess I would like to think there arent that many unfortunate souls out there!

That is true! But it did say it looked like he had been in the water a long time.

Exactly...my brother bought a tundra 13mpg highway. My ram 21 highway.
Have fun getting 11 mpg with the Toyota. I would have bough another if they would just update that motor. Liked everything about my last tundra. Happy with my switch to ram.

Same here. You have to have a signal and most of the antennas are yagis and are directional. Verizon even showed up and basically said your wasting your time. We have a weak cell signal to start with and couldn't get anything to noticeably improve it.A little input
i researched cell signal boosters last fall for my house. Based on what I learned I don’t think the technology , boosting the signal, would work on a moving boat. The device is very specific to the solid location, like a tv signal reciever so to speck and it has to be hard mounted and pointing right at the strongest tower nearest you.

If you are running a kicker motor off to the side of the main just put the rigger on the opposite side.

I switch it out every year, cheap insurance. There are times when you have 50 dollars in tackle tied onto the end of it!

Had good luck with large and smallmouth at the northeast end of guffins Bay toward the mouth of the creek. 10-18 fow. Careful getting too shallow by the creek mouth and to the north there are boulders sitting on the limestone.
