Thanks! I gave it a shot today and only picked up one northern. I trolled shad cranks. Marked a lot of fish. Not sure what they were. Big lake was solid fog till 10am. Anyone else go?

Right on. Great job

Two weeks ago they were in 20 feet pretty thick. Tight on the mud lines and well inside them as well. Mostly spoon and stick baits. Riggers 10-15’ down

Anyone have any tips for fishing walleye in Sodus bay? Been curious to give it a shot.

Ok cool. Thanks for the info.

Do most guys keep their radios on ch16? I just put one on my boat and was wondering which channel to stay on. I’ll be out of fair haven Saturday.

Ultra sonic cleaner and steel wool works great as well.

Anyone know of any open launches on the lake?

I’m running Amish big boards. Hopefully it won’t matter. Just imagining the farther out the more of a sag the line will have from the rod tip.

Yeah I agree! I thought about doing the segmented as well but I’m not sure I’d trust all those knots. I’ll give the rubber bands a try. Thank you

Hey guys, I’m fairly new to salmon fishing and am rigging up a few new rods for this year. I was going to add some leadcore lines to my spread and thinking of rigging two 10 colors up. Does anyone have a trick to clipping leadcore on planer releases? Say I want to only run 3 colors out. Can I clip it at that point?
I’ve read in the past that it’s not a good idea but I’m not sure I buy it.. any help would be appreciated.

Went for Kings 7-10am from 40-70 feet with every lure in the box. Not even a bump. Switched up to shallow browns from 10-1 and ended with 3 browns, one huge smallmouth and a broke off king. Nice size brown also bent the hook 2 feet from the net. Fought hard today.
