  1. Looking to head out this week for some prespawn action. does anyone know if the northern end is still chocolate milk? I’ve heard it’s been murky with slight visibility when my buddy went out over a week ago. Water temp was in the mid 40’s. Did it clear up? thanks in advance !
  2. Thank you Sir happy fishing !
  3. Great thank you for the update !
  4. Good morning Gents, Looking to go to Cayuga April 21-23 & May 1-5th for some prespawn bass’n. Would anyone happen to have an update on the water temps? Will be fishing the northern end of the lake. I know it’s been a warm winter with not much ice at least by me, in Sullivan County NY. None of the lakes have froze and prespawn is in full affect here. I’ve been going to Cayuga usually the first week of May for the last two years and water temps fluctuated between 50-54 degrees. Always made out good with some biggin’s, hopefully it’ll be in the same ballpark this year ! thanks !
  5. Water level is normal maybe even a bit higher. Should definitely have the green light. Many boats launching from there including myself.
  6. Greetings, I’m looking to fish Cayuga April 9th weekend for some LMB. Hoping to get on some pre-spawners even tho it might be early. I’m a good good distance away (3 1/2hrs) so I’m just trying to see if anyones been on the lake recently. Anyone have info on the water temp on the northern end of the lake. I’d assume it would be a tad warmer there. I’d be fishing out of Cayuga State Park. The Cornell edu site hasn’t been working for some time now & I know that was based off Ithaca/South readings. Any info would be appreciated ! cheers -Dan

  9. Okay thanks for the insight. I usually launch in from the Cayuga State Park a little more north from Union Springs. I never tried fishing the South side by Ithaca for bass. Might give it a try ! - dan

  11. Hey Guys and Gals, Im planing to take a trip to Cayuga Lake but before i do so does anybody know the water temperature in the Northern End ? I’m targeting mainly largemouth and possibly smallmouth if the Opportunity presents itself. I went in the middle of September and it was still fluctuating around 70-72 degrees. Doesn’t seem like the night temperatures been as low as they should be. Hopefully the aggressive Fall Feed is in motion already ! Im happy to be a new member on this site. Seems like we have a lot of knowledgable and passionate people here ! thank you. ps- i hope i posted this in the right section. -Dan
