  1. Nice catch, we've been hitting them south end by the cliffs and up by Aurora. Haven't done anything on cowbells yet mostly dipsy's and down rigger.
  2. couldn't agree more....spent a lot of time of both lakes, Cayuga has far better fishing and less boats.
  3. It's warm now.....upper 60s. Been trolling deep (60-90) to get fish. Spin-n-glows (white/pink) and spoons (mixed veggie and perch colored w/ gold backs) on 300 copper seem to be working best so far.
  4. I seem to catch Lakers on spin Dr (white or green) with spin-n-glows, all the silvers are on spoons and planer boards. Haven't gotten a silver yet on spin Drs but I'll keep trying LOL
  5. Fleas are bad right now.....no issues w/ Copper lines but had to respool all my downrigger and diver lines to 50 lb mono to keep them off. Fish are biting so I guess you take what you can get
  6. For Cayuga it depends on what your fishing for. North end of lake for Bass/Perch, if your looking for Lakers/Rainbows/LL then they've been down between 50-90' in about 150'-200' of water. Haven't been up to north end yet so don't know how bad the weeds are but he water fleas are in full bloom so use heavy line (or copper) to keep them off. Otherwise your line will get all gunked up with them if your trolling. Trolling spoons, spin-n-glows and flys are working good if you get them down to the right depth.
  7. While I've been up there a lot I've never really fished 4th Lake that much. A lot of the Laker and LL fishing is just north of Dollar Island and on the east side of Cedar Island. I see a lot of boats jigging (old timers will be handlining flashers) or trolling there. That also seems to be where most of the ice fishermen set up as well.
