Looking for some Caddy Shack lure tape as well as Transparent Yellow 8 inch ladder back tapes.

Does the drive have an override so you do have to tun unit off to change heading?

Does an Octpus type s mechanical helm drive have an overide so you do not have to turn off to change heading?

Does anybody run Octpus type s helm drives with cable steering? Are they noisy when motor is running? Thanks

Had a like problem with my 350 chev merc cruiser. After spending $4000 plus and tuliping valves on both heads ,burned two sets of exaust boots off and replaced risers and manifolds found the problem . Carb was dumping a stream of gas into manilolds causing a blow torch in them . Heat was crazy hot. Replaced carb no problem last three seasons. Just saying. This was an idle condition mostly.
