Nick take one of these or a brown , leave the skin on when you clean it , put dark brown sugar on the meat side , ziplock bag in fridge for a day or two , fire grill up real hot like for searing a steak , throw the fish on meat side down to sear it , put some aluminum foil on grill and turn fish with skin side on foil , turn heat down , melt some real butter and lemon juice , as the juices cook out of fish and it drys put the butter and lemon juice on it till its all used up , eat it that way or have some salsa for a side...............
Just a heads up pap , 4 riggers take some planning what you will be running , from what I read 7' separation from end of boom and 5' in water column if you are running most any type of attractor. My old boat had 4 , after some massive tangles I went down to three with above separation.... still got a tangle or two running to long of lead off rigger with a dodger....
I agree on just too many lurkers ,
I've had some ideas on it also just never put the time in to see. Trolling you find some honey holes for slivers and browns that I should go back and jig or just run-n-gun those spots hit or miss and move on..... hope you have good luck with your approach...

WTG Bob , I felt the same way when trolling with all the hardware down catch a lot of fish but not much fight.....2005 started asking questions about just a spoon program dialed one in over the next few years and lived and died by it , great fight from a 17" laker on this gear with just a spoon and slivers and browns AWESOME fight ....... then the last few years it got tough for my spoon program just too many fishless days so I went back to pulling hardware to boat some fish...... it great you are staying with it , think you guys will work out a program for the sliver fish also a bit at a time your off to a very good start now......NICE fish
The last one I bought I got it from Screwy Louie's Sport Shop & Downrigger Service Centerhad old board in hand he went in back of his shop and brought me one out.....
