5" renoski or reefrunners are hot out to the bar in the spring for Kings. The landlocks like them too!

Cable , release, probe, short probe saftey cable , weight. Release is the above the rest.
When I am stacking a second rod on the rigger I used to use the offshore, it was quick and easy. Now I use just the two riggers and run the dipsies off the sides. If I can run another rod its a leadcore or copper down the middle. The rigger rods usually have a slider , fixed or free on them.

A friend caught a coho casting for pike in the 1000 islands a couple of years ago. Had quite a time with it with the reel he was using

The worst thing you could do is not give it a try!!!! Mistakes happen and make great posts when you get back. I like the guy that was trolling next to us one day with his new boat. He was marking all kinds of fish and dam if he didn't catch a few. We had a blank screen!! Come to find out he had the fishfinder on simulator. He was telling us depths and such that we knew wern't right.

Treiman is open at the south end Cornell and Ithaca collages have had the crew boats out as far as the drop. Lake still is low.

Sounds like a Pain in the *&% Like to see them do it with Kings in the fall

The streams are muddy up this tme of year and you can follow the flow into the lake. The west shore is clear , the three streams flow in and you can see mud line going out to the east side of the lake and up toward Myres and the barge up there. The currents effect your lure speed and direction you go . Its like the satallite photo of Lake Ontario that is up on the open board. You can see the Niagara plume and the counter clockwise flow of the lake.

Been working out of the Cortland plant the last week. Looks like the inlet is open, but I didn't have a chance to check the launch at Treiman. Now is a good time to watch the current flow out in the main lake. From East shore drive you can see how the 3 rivers flow into the lake and where the flow goes.

Inlet is still frozen and the Ice on the lake is between the red breakwall marker and the white. Maybe the rain tomarrow will break it up

Cabins are nice . No hot water you have to use the showerhouse. We have been camping there for the last 20 + years for the two weeks of the fall derby with out any problems. With the campground that is. Truck broke , boat broke etc. A couple of the cabins are a bit of a challange with the boat on the trailer though. Not impossable, but a bit of a challange. Beats the heck out of a tent when the rain starts This was in the BC years. Before Camper

How about hearts for valintine's day shamrocks for St pat's day, firecrackers for the 4th. like all the goofy lights you see on the campers. Year round fun!!!

A little in at a time in the lawn mower or the snow blower is ok. The oxygen senser and some of the other stuff that sets off the check engine light may not like the twostroke mix. Ray you need to use SAFTEY MATCHES!!!

Gray squirrels love the plastic taste. We have trouble with them with the plastic propane lines when they don't get buried quick enough. That last bite must be a rush with 10 psi behind it
-
Could be the extra action the boat gives the lures as it get thrown around by the waves.
-
And now some of the newer trucks you can't turn the head lights off with the truck running!!
-
We had our best luck close to the bottom. With flashers and flies, hammer and mirage being the best. The flashers were getting scrubed off on the leading edge. Good luck. Hope to be up one more time before the season ends.

Fish Doctor Copper stick. Nice action and you can see the action of the flasher on the rod, just like the thumper rod.
What are they worth......................
